Aftermarket stereo faceplate adapter question

Hey guys,

My first official question since I bought a "new to me" 2003 SR5. Has the factory (non-JBL) stereo so I bought a "single DIN" unit and associated adapter. The adapter arrived with a broken "tab" at the bottom front (hangs down below the storage slot created by the extra space). Not getting any response from seller (i.e. guess I need to leave negative feedback) but I'm wondering if I can just glue this on or do you think it will be okay with just one support? Really hate to do a "sub par" install so, if it needs to be right (i.e. a new bracket), let me know. Worst case is I'll just have to order a new bracket from someone else and deal with these idiots later (pretty lame how they shipped it, the tabs are very susceptible to damage even with a bubble envelope).

Now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure they are supposed to send me one (I recall seeing something about that on my order). I'll find out soon, as it supposedly arrived today. I didn't pay much attention since I had already ordered the one of eBay.

You guys got some bad quality kit, it should be nice and smooth, not bowled, the pic above looks bowled in the middle, it'll annoy the crap out of me. Although I have the same kit as the top pic, I have also tried Metra kit, I still have that Metra kit somewhere, I switched out to the American international kit (scosche,bestkit) since I needed a lil more clearance , I did iso mount, rcas are behind the radio.

I would contact whoever sold or shipped it to you and have them send another one. I wouldn't want to trust a half broken bracket.

EDIT: Missed that you contacted the seller, try to find a phone number or something, or file a grievance with paypal, that will get their attention
