Aftermarket Stereo Head Unit - Speakers No Longer Working?

So I bought a new head unit and aftermarket speakers and began installing the head unit first. Although I have all the door panels removed for the new speakers. I cut the main plug from the stock head unit and wired the aftermarket stereo plug directly to it using the key in the manual for the stereo and this key I found online for the 4runner. I have checked this 3 times over. all negatives and positives connected correctly.....


Problems:

1. The stock speakers are not working.. Yes every single one. My phone is connected VIA bluetooth and you can see the bar on the display moving as the volume should be working but is not.

2. When on the radio setting of the stereo the stereo goes on and off and the antenna starts to go up and stops and acts all funny. I notice there are (2) antenna like plugs on stock stereo one large and one small.... the small one is not getting used as there is no where to connect it to the aftermarket unit.




Any ideas?

Well with 40 views and 0 replies I finally figured out that I wired it to the stock amplifier on accident. So for whoever reads this having similar problems after you remove the stock stereo the plug that was in the stereo is connected to the stock amplifier. You most likely don't need this and it comes off with 2 bolts. In the back of the amplifier are 2 plugs that you will use to hook up your new head unit.
