Hi everyone, this is my first thread. I read many post on this forum especially those about noises coming from B pillar. I tried all the solution like sunroof track etc. Unfortunately nothing worked for me (have 06 Sport V8 no moods with sunroof). However I did some research and found what may cause those issues. I let my gf ride the car while I was sitting in the back with my ear on the pillar and on the ceiling and I’m pretty much sure bother issues are caused by the wiring on the ceiling ( the noise from B pillar and noise on the back of the car). I bet it got loose. I didn’t take the roof headliner yet cause it is time consuming work and it’s pretty cold now here in NYC but as soon as it will get warmer I will do so. Mean while I attach pic of instruction how to disassemble headliner along with location of the wiring. Hope it will resolve the issue as I know how frustrating it may be.
Again B pillar, driver seat belt or trunk noise/rattle 4th gen

It is a time consuming procedure: did it this past spring when I soundproofed! I'd recommend a 2nd set of hands when you actually remove the headliner itself as its pretty bulky and prone to bend (read crease) at the sunroof opening (if you have the sunroof). Good luck & advise how you make out!
