...but you are storing moisture (doesn't matter if it's under pressure.) Not sure if I'm saying this right but it's not condensation due to a difference in air temp of a steel tank. It's the repeated pressurizing of air (that contains moisture) through the intake that causes a moisture build-up in the tank. The moisture in the air becomes a "condensate" that pools in the bottom (due to gravity.) This could possibly rust through and blow out the bottom fittings first. Use a compressor for an entire hot, humid day (untold # of cycles) and see how much moisture you get.boston_kevin said:My compressor always has about 120 PSI in the tank.
