So I'm having a mechanic install my lift for me (no time to do it all myself), but I prepped a bunch of things for him myself yesterday. I slid the airbags into the springs to make things easier and less complicated for him, but they were a super tight fit. Also, they were roughly half the height of the springs themselves. When the bumpstops get cut, they're going to be nowhere near the bags when uninflated (or at 5psi). So my questions:
A. When the bags inflate, do they expand enough to touch the shortened bumpstop, or do they just stiffen the lower coils?
B. With the bags so tight in there, what happens when the coils flex? Do they move around the bags, or do the bags just get "squished" between the coils?

Oh, and I'll post photos later, but I took a couple of ideas from Antman when installing these. I put the valve in the same spot on the bumper, and mounted a mini-compressor that I had laying around in the tool cubby as well. I used an L bracket to mount it on top of the cross bar in there though, so my jack and tools still fit. Pics soon...
