Airdown - 285 on Stock Wheels

Dang, I already pulled the trigger on the Kendas. People online talk a lot of smack on the Treadwrights, claiming that they would never ride on retreads/remolds blah blah blah so I never really considered them. I need more opinions from ppl who have actually used them like yourself, not online parroting! Perhaps on the next go I'll look into the Treadwrights. Thanks for the input though :biggrin1:



I have a real cheap commuter (99 Sentra) I daily. This is supposed to be my camp/adventure truck. Still though, living in L.A. adventure can be hundreds of highway miles away sometimes haha.

Ive ran two sets of TW on wifes truck, my truck, and have three buddies that run them. Never had an issue.

Ditto, I kind turned my whole little circle on to them. Now they exclusively run them on new builds.

Check out the Treadwright Guard Dogs. $135/ tire with free shipping if you ask for it. I had them on my last truck and loved 'em! Can't beat $540 for 4 tires

I've only run them without spacers on Sequoia wheels and my Level 8's. Spacers are cheap though, and you could just run a really skinny one if you wanted to minimize how far they stick out.

Yes, but even skinny spacers require new studs for the front. That is kinda pricey and a hassle.

*Also, it would be nice to know ahead of time, if I need to buy spacers before attempting to bolt them up. I understand, you might not know this info Maybe someone else?

There are people selling spidertrax spacers that have new studs in classified all the time. Im sure you could find a good deal. Its what I use up front. I was getting some rub with my old 265's on the UCA when flexing out.
