Alarm, keyless entry question

So I just bought a 3rd gen and it has an aftermarket alarm system installed. My question is what is the Toyota security light in the picture on the left?

Could the 4runner at one time had a factory keyless entry?

Anybody know anything about the Toyota security light? My 4runner didn't come with owners manual.

yes, it originally had keyless entry and security system, no blue light though, that must be from the aftermarket. There is a link on this site to the manual.

I have a '97 Limited and originaly used the factory system until I had a Viper system installed for remote start.
