I have to agree.. God forbid they put something out that we could actually learn from lol... Good grief!:der:
You know, I am paying a little extra on my TV programming so that I could receive the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, etc. I enjoy learning, and I wanted my children to have some educational programming, as well. However, so much of these channels have these "reality" shows that are based upon the "country bumpkin, trash, redneck,....pick your term of endearment" that do not have the interpersonal skills to have a normal conversation without resorting to verbal or physical violence, or making "yee haw", "whoop, whoop" sounds. No coping skills for the real world. But, hey, if "normal, intelligent" people can watch it, be entertained, make fun of them in their living rooms, etc., then I suppose the show producers have done their job. The sad part is that these people on these shows are actually the butt of jokes, but they seem too stupid to realize it,...or maybe they don't care as long as they are getting a paycheck.
Either way, it needs to stop. It reminds me of the movie Idiocracy that came out in 2006.
