I've installed an Alpine NAV20 and am using a USB thumb drive to hold over 400 CDs worth of music.
1) What file type do I need to have to get the album cover art displayed? I've seen it with a test thumb drive I setup while installing the head unit so I know it displays them but I don't see them with my full music catalog,
2) Can someone school me on play lists? I've never used them with any success before. Mostly I listen to music as albums, not single songs and that's how I've loaded the music onto the thumb drive. Each artist has a folder, within that are folders for the albums, within that are the songs. The songs start with the track number so they will play in order.
I thought, apparently wrongly, that play lists were just that, files with lists of files to play in a given order but I know think that may not be the case. So how do I create play lists and not have multiple copies of songs wasting space.
