Ah ok on the 2010 trail it's built into the upper controls beside the sunroof switch. I guess that changed when they split between te and tep.

This is the one I got. Comes with the wiring harness and was super easy to install. 3 wires, ground, and 2 +12v for home link power and dimmer power. Just got an add-a-circuit and spliced it in. Thanks man!

Got my BlendMount in and installed today. Really gives it a much cleaner look than the suction cups and makes it a little easier to reach.

Also got a windshield mount for my Nexus 5 that has a built in charger. Got a 12v DC to 5V 3A 15watt USB converter and hard wired a usb cord to the charger. Gives it a really clean look.
Now I can run the DashCommand OBD II app and other apps while maintaining a charge on the phone with no wires in the way.

Been looking at your thread for a while, and just had a question. When you installed your wheels, tires, lift, and UCA's did you need a body mount chop or trim at all? Just curious because I have a similar setup I am installing next weekend, and need to know what I am going to run into.
I have ATX 17x8 Teflon Ledge wheels, Cooper ST MAXX 255/80/17's, Toytec Boss Lift, and Total Chaos Tubular UCA's so I think I will be running a very similar setup.

Not sure what the OP has, but this is a very good unit, low profile (no cords), and very good throughput and reliable connection.
For Android and Windows:

No chop or trimming at all. Got a slight rub on the driver side mud flap but only in very certain situations.
I've just got some cheap $20 bluetooth one off of ebay. Seems to work well.

Been spraying plastidip all morning. Driver side flares are done. I'd say they turned out pretty well. The lines from pulling the tape off aren't perfect on the parts where the flare is molded into the bumper, but are good enough. I imagine they could be better with some proper automotive painters tape. I'm just using the blue stuff for painting walls.

Looks great! My lines on the molded in flares were not that great either when I first took the tape off. What I did was re-tape the edge just beyond the furthest point of the dip along the edge - creating a new solid edge (be sure to press the tape down hard). I then just sprayed one, heavy coat and removed the tape immediately before it dried. Created a nice, sharp edge.

Thanks. I may go back later and give that a try. Probably go pickup some better tape to use as well. Going to start masking off the passenger side later this afternoon. Will probably have to safe the front and rear valence for later this week.
Also got some White Knuckle offroad sliders order last week. Can't get here soon enough! :becky:

3 down, 1 to go. Tried to power through and get it done tonight, but think I'll just wait and knock it out after work tomorrow. Need to drink a beer and sit on the couch for a bit, get ready for the short work week (thank you pres. Washington).
Ordered the Dip Nozzle from DipYourCar.com but didn't get in in time. Will be here tomorrow. Going to try it out with the valences. Supposed to provide a better more consistent spray than the normal nozzle.
Got the plastidip cans in a 6 pack off amazon for $38 shipped. Much cheaper than DipYourCar.com Still thinking about ordering a can of the Vintage Gold from them for the emblems. Haven't decided yet.

I take it you mean the hood. I've thought about it. I'd do the whole scoop though. Need to get some better tape to make cleaner lines with the plastidip first.

I'm thinking of doing the actual bulge of the scoop, not just the insert, which would require some precise taping. You do have me thinking of doing the whole hood now though. Hm.......

So, I got the plasti dip'd fenders finished up earlier this week. Haven't had a chance to take quality pictures. When I taped off the parts on the front and rear bumpers that are molded in I didn't get very clean lines. I've been concerned about peeling and trying to figure out a way to fix it.
Finally decided instead of taping and respraying some more coats of plasti I got some black silicone sealant to use on the edges, kind of like a caulk. I did some research and tested the sealant out on a small part first to make sure it wouldn't damage the paint or be completely permanent. With it being silicone it should just peel off with a little more effort than the plasti dip.
So here's how it turned out.
Before:
Taped off and spread the silicone with my pinky finger and smoothed out for a straight line:

I'd say it worked pretty well. I'm hoping the silicone will also give me a little tighter seal on the edge of the plasti dip to help prevent against peeling. Especially when washing the car etc.
Going to do the driver side in the morning.
