I recently installed 5100's front and rear with the fronts set at .85 and I put a 3/4" spacer in the back.
I didn't feel like I had any issues at all and it drove real well after the install, but to be safe I thought I should still get an alignment. Turns out the caster was initially out of spec. Though the final caster is still out of spec. Which understandably concerns me. The guy told me he couldn't get the caster in without getting the camber way out. Based on the initial numbers, he initially asked me if it was pulling to the right, which I hadn't really noticed, one way or the other. That was based on the right being 1.8, and left being 2.2, creating a .4 difference.
Well based on the initial numbers, and the final numbers, shouldn't it be pulling left now based on a .6 difference? Or do I not know wtf I'm talking about, haha. And it may be my imagination, but it feels like its pulling very slightly left requiring a few minor steering adjustments. Anyway, I know theres a few actual alignment techs here, and I'm curious to see opinions from guys who know more than me.
And to be fair, it still drives very well, and I truly believe the shop is very reputable.
