All terrain tire recommendations

If you're looking for agressive, I'd highly recommend the Kelly assafari TSR. They're very agressive looking and a bit cheaper than the duratrac. I've had mine on for 10k miles and they show no signs of wear. They handle very well and do great off-road. On the road they're quieter than the BFG AT's. Look at my sig for the pics and info on them.

Checkout the Yoko Geolandar A/T-S. A set of 4 is $552 + shipping at TireRack.com.

Been running these for about 8 mos with 17,000 miles on them. So far I am satisfied with them and they fit your bill.

Avoid shipping by going to DiscountTireDirect(dot)com. This tire is $141/tire * 4 = $564 with no shipping.

im 95% sure ill be ordering from discount tire, unless if can find them cheaper in stores. it looks like ill be getting the nitto terra grapplers, i've read some really good reviews on them.

I have been very happy with the new Cooper S/T MAXX. If you don't want a full out MT, but want something that is still looks pretty aggressive and has a very durable sidewall, you should check it out. I came from the Cooper STT previously and I like these even better.

I currently have falken wild peaks and am pretty happy with them. im very happy with their offroad performance in everything from sand to mud to rocks to water crossings, but on wet pavement they hydroplane pretty bad, and they're only 265s. they are quiet and handle well on dry pavement. probably won't buy them again, but offroad they are great.

my last set was Yokohama geolandar ats and they ROCKED. perfect on a wet and dry pavement, 285s resisted hydroplane well, and did great offroad. didn't have quite as much bite in the sloppy stuff but a little throttle always got me through. killer in deep snow. can't say enough good about them.

bfg ats. killer in sand, dry offroad, snow. unacceptably awful in mud and on wet pavement. will never buy again unless they're going on a desert racer.

terra grapplers and destinations are both killer tires that I have not personally owned yet. the TGs are next on my list.

I thought you might like to hear my .02 worth on several tires instead of the usual - this is what I bought so they're the best - response.

I'm gonna go with a set of Destination A/Ts when these Revos 1s wear out.

I think they are about the best bang for the buck currently.

I hear and read a lot that the Firestone Destinations are good but I have a problem with Firestone (before and after Bridgestone ownership) and their tread problems. I remember problems in the late 1970's with Firestone tires then Explorers started flipping over with Firestones.

Just my 2 cents.
