Do you have the part #'s for the shocks also? Or do you just go buy the Bilstein HD shocks and make sure they fit with the fitment guide most sites have? Truck looks great btw! Perfect amount of lift in my opinion. Also if you dont mind me asking roughly how much did the springs and shocks cost together? I want to do the same, but i probably wont be able to until next summer, due to funds.

Or, if you wanted to do it by vehicle, like on Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels where I got mine (cheapest at the time), search by 1999 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD
Shocks: Fronts were $73 each, rears $66. After shipping etc = $305.09
Springs: Front and Rear Coil Springs = $343.85
$650 Approx...
Sonoran steel sells a kit (3.0) with the springs but with some cheapo Tokico Trekmaster shocks, Sonoran charges $635 so you'd lose money buying his kit anway. He also charges another $200 for sending them preassembled... so $835.
Tokico Trekmasters sell elsewhere for $51 each, so you'd save $100 vs Bilstein HD's if you bought them elsewhere.
So, ultimately, lose money with Sonoran, or buy everything individually. You can literally get the SS 3.0 system for $300 cheaper than he sells it. If you want the Bilsteins, they're a little more, but worth it.
SS 3.0 = $635 + shipping $50-$80 est.
Toyota Coils plus Bilsteins = $650 shipped
Toyota Coils plus Tokicos = $550 shipped

J-money and I got some Trekmasters for $80/pair (shipped) and then LINY found them for even less than that! They're cheapo but I swear they ride friggin great! I'm honestly liking them even better than my OME comfort shocks. Ours are stock replacement FJ80 LC shocks so they are longer and have a larger bolt/shaft at the top. I would venture to say they are stronger than any 4runner shocks.

Glad i was able to revive it! Maybe i will revive it again later when i actually get to do the lift. Wont be till next summer though!
Okay so just to be clear... you can buy the 3.0 system w/ the Bilsteins? or thats still buying the springs then shocks seperately?
And ive searched a little bit and cant find anywhere to buy the springs from i dont know where to look. I found the Bilsteins but idk where to even start looking for springs. When i type them in Google search all i get is forum stuff haha.
I do think i will go with the Bilsteins since i kind of would like to get the same outcome you got with yours its just the perfect amount of lift. Im just kind of a bit confused i guess.

The SS 3.0 only comes with Tokicos. Basically, what I was saying, if you want to be ripped off, buy the SS 3.0, because it's way too overpriced. Buying the parts separately will be much cheaper.
You must go to the Toyota dealer for the springs. They can order them for you. The above part numbers are what you need.
And as far as the shocks go, there is no difference with the lift with either shock, the lift is designated by the spring. The shocks are just there to absorb.

Deffinitely! I will have to post some pics! Well i need new tires first because the genius who had it before me had freaking small tires on the front and larger tires on the back. So it looks goofy and does not sit level, so i think that needs to be fixed first. but yeah will do keep up the great work on yours still looking good!

Your Welcome! and well thats the funny part... i bought the truck from my girlfriends dad... haha granted he did also buy a jeep so that shows something there... not to mention it was a 2WD. Well they did get an 08 4Runner to so whatever haha. if you check out your wrecked 3rd gen thread you will see my old 91 pickup. How i got my 3rd Gen :-].
