All weather mats?

I had WeatherTech floor liners in my previous two vehicles and loved them. But for my new TRD pro I went with husky weatherbeaters. Pretty comparable, but the reasons I dec to try these this time were price, (found for about $50 less and WeatherTech), the spiked bottom to prevent movement, and the design that covers the entire left foot rest on the drivers side. So far they have been great and have no regrets. Hope this helps.

I went oem straight from the dealership. They work great but are pricey. Good luck with your search.

Hmmmm where did you find the husky weatherbeaters? Out of OEM, Weathertech and Husky. Husky was the most expensive for some reason. I'm looking for the whole 5 pieces. 2 fronts, 2 rears and cargo mat.
I got them on Amazon. The piece for the second row is one long one. I didn't get the cargo liner with them.

I have Husky Weather beaters. Same sort of deal as WeatherTech's but the Husky's have slightly better coverage and are a bit cheaper. No issues with mine warping since installing in January 2014. I removed the fronts for the summer months and put them back in before winter started. Zero salt stains on my carpet.

I also have the Husky Liners, more coverage than the Weathertechs and also made in the US. No complaints so far.
BTW, you need to start running a search for these common discussions you keep starting new threads on, they have been covered many times over already. I had all the same questions as you when I bought mine and I found all the answers I needed with a push of the search button.

I got the Husky WeatherBeaters for the first and second rows. My thoughts:
1. Good coverage in the front. I like that the mats have a lip that extend over the door sill.
2. I don't know if it's just because it's been so damn cold and the mats are too stiff, but they just won't lock down using the 4Runner's twist locks.
3. The second row is a single long piece. It's a pain to install, especially in -20* weather.
4. The second row mat does NOT fit 4Runners with the 3rd row seat option. I'm still trying to clarify with Husky whether there is a 3rd row mat (I didn't see such option when I ordered nor do I see anything on their website.)
5. The mats seem oddly thin. They are more plastic than rubber. I sure hope they are as durable as some of you guys say.
I got a set of rubber mats thrown in with my truck. That's my backup, I guess.

So you have the Husky's or the Weathertechs? You say Husky Weathertechs, just clarifying.
Also, I have the third row option and my Husky liners fit perfectly for the second row seating.
Are you trying to say the mat for the third row doesn't fit or that the second row mat doesn't fit if the truck has the third row option?

The Weatherbeater second row doesn't fit the second row. The problem seems to be the rear edge of the mat not fitting the seat anchors/feet on the floor of the car.

Was there an option for different mats when you bought them?

I head weathertechs in my last vehicle, and loved them. I almost got them again for the 4runner, but I had heard so many positive things about WeatherBeaters on this forum, so I went with the Husky Weatherbeaters.....I wish I wouldn't have listened. They aren't bad enough to justify buying WeatherTechs in addition though.
The WeatherBeaters are very hard and stiff, and don't sit right in some areas. They have sharp spikes on the bottom that need to be trimmed around the edges in order to fit better. As much as I would like to bust out a heatgun and re-form them to fit properly, they should fit properly from the factory. The lip that goes over the door sill doesn't lay flat and people get their foot caught on them.
The Weathertechs are a little softer, and fit better. They are thicker and the material looks and feels like a higher quality. They are also not as slippery as the Hard Plastic WeatherBeaters. They don't need spikes on the bottom to keep them from sliding because they fit precisely.

Just ordered Husky weatherbeaters for my 2015 TEP. Have husky liners (original design) in my 2004 4Runner and dad's 2000 Dodge Ram 2500. Have had them for over 10 years in each and have never had a problem, so that is why I went with Husky again unfortunately they only offer the weatherbeaters for the 2015 model year. Purchased mine directly from Husky.
