Finally I'm here. :hello: Glad to be on this adventure. :surfer:

After months of drooling at fellow members rigs, and searching tirelessly on fellow members posts for troubleshooting and repairing tips...we (me and the wife) finally decided to get a 4Runner of our own!

It's a 2000 Sports edition SR5 4x4 5 speed manual with a lot of miles. The previous owner couldn't verify it maintenance he did on it, so I know I will be going through this rig from front to back to get this rig up to snuff. It's running good right now though.

Hoping to be a good and positive contributing member, and make a couple of friends on here with the same interest (TR4's).:tea:

I wish 00's had a 4.7 option. It has just the standard 3.4L V6 engine. Planning on doing the T belt, most of the coolant hoses and front CV shaft soon. From reading other members post here looks like most of the land here are private no 4wheeling. Would be fun one day to bring this 00 onto it's dirt time happy environment.

Ya Houston has it's perks! The food is great too. It's good being here.
Do you know of any public off road parks here? Little Rock must be great to stretch your 4R legs.

I already did a number of 3.4 t-belts for friends of mine and had some experience on the 4.7. I love working on T4R's.
