Already have 5100s, Should I get new springs for lift?

I'm relatively new here as I just bought my truck and I'm still planning out my initial maintenance and mods that I want to do. Looks like a previous owner put Bilstein 5100s on it all around. They still seem pretty new, although the rear of my truck is sagging a bit. I think new springs should go in relatively soon because they look old and probably stock.

Part #s for the shocks are FRONT: 24-248730 (B8 5100) REAR: 24-249966 (5100 series)

Part # for front springs (only one i could see) is MF 0815 and S6341 beneath that. Are they stock?

So, With my 265/70/R17's my truck sits at:
FRONT: 36.25" From ground to fender and 21.5" from hub to fender
REAR: 34.25" From ground to fender and 19.5" from hub to fender

I want to keep my current 32" tires, but it would be nice to have a decent leveled ~2" lift over what it is now. My budget is pretty limited, so what route should I go? If I did spacers, and planned on getting new springs next year would that be dumb? What are my options for springs with these shocks that won't drain the bank?

I run 5100 on all my vehicles except the 3rd gen 4 runner. My lifted tundra, the 4th gen 4runner and my wife 19 Ted offroad has them. They are a fabulous shock and if u want to level or lift it u can with this shock. I run spacers on 3rd, 4th, and 5th gen 4 runner with this shock so u need to check because u probably already have spacers. New springs will correct the sag and heavy duty ones will help u load it up alot. If u tow use airbags. Those 5100 are ride height adjustable so they will work with whatever you decide

I think i'm going to go with OME 906 or 890 springs in the rear. I think the rear springs are still stock and the front ones are probably stock, but on a higher perch of the adjustable bilsteins.

I'd like to get 3" more in the rear (so, probably just a 2" lift spring because it's sagging) and 1" more in the front, so that I have a level 22.5" hub to fender all around.

How bad really is the ride on the highest perch of the bilsteins with stock springs? If I don't need to buy a set of $150+ front springs, I'd like not to... for now... I'm only 19 so It's not like i have a bad back that I need to worry about yet lol

Also, 90% of the time I'm driving alone with almost nothing in the back, so I'm leaning towards the 890s over the 906s because they're supposedly lighter duty.

I'd go with 890's over 906 if you don't have much weight in the back most of the time

There are no part numbers on OEM springs. They will be black with two coils having paint marks of various colors.

The conservative (read: cheap) rout is to put 890's or 906's on the rear (only) and see if you like the look/stance from there...

slightly used eibach 577lb coils for the front are on the way from another T4R member. Also, i found a used set of OME 890s somewhere else that should be on the way tomorrow. I figured, lightly used springs all around wasn't much more expensive than brand new rears only anyways. I expect the eibachs on the first perch of the 4runner specific 5100s should give me ~2.5" in front. (From the very few threads about the eibachs I've found, it seems most people get 3" on the first perch with the stiffer/(longer?) 620lb+ eibach coils)

hopefully should end up level without much ride quality sacrifice considering the front stock springs are probably on the second/third perch currently, and the rears are old and saggy

total of $230 for both (shipped across the country, lol. still the best deals i could find)

just hoping my 265/70/r17's won't look too goofy with a 3" lift, ah well

New rear springs put on yesterday. front ones coming soon, hopefully adding 1" in front because I've got 1" of rake as it sits with some tools in the back. Here's some pics!

Side note: I live in an apartment complex with lots of speed bumps, and the old rear springs would bounce 3 or 4 times after hitting the bump, The 890s only bounce once and still feel relatively the same in terms of softness. which is great!

I like the 1" of rake look. See if it grows on you...

The 890 are a fair jump in spring rate from the stock springs. The 5100's have very little dampening at very low speeds, so oscillate a bit with very soft springs. With slightly stiffer springs, they control the ride really well. I have the opposite going on with my 4Runner than you did - I have 2WD front springs (softer than 4WD springs) and it floats just a bit with the 5100's - and the rear is nice and controlled with stiffer springs back there.

Most of the 'stiffness' you feel in regular driving is up the shocks, not springs in many cases. Now you just have well-matched spring/shocks.

I've already got the used eibachs sitting on my counter, i'll probably just throw them in on a lower perch and keep the stance, maybe get another 0.5" in front, who knows. But I may wait a while until I get a diff drop or something because I really don't want to have to deal with blowing CV axles with 3" of lift
