Am I the only one who HATES vibrations and rattles?

Yeah man, unfortunately I think you are in the minority on this one...bad luck I guess...It happens....Trust me...I have had my share of bad luck buying new vehicles...

Too early to tell with my 08...so far so good...

To be honest I think it is impossible to build a vehicle that will not rattle eventually...kinda sucks that it happened so soon for you...

I hope Your right bro, cause this does not leave me with too many choices the only car maker left for me Benz and BMW.. Well I have seen alot people with a rattle in the headliner and sunroof. I have tried everything to fix from sticking foam in the headline to greasing the sun roof track, and even a suggestion for this board to cut and place a plastic washer on the wind deflector bar.. and so far no luck fixing it.. I think it has do something with the side air bags...

sunroof rattle

Yeah, I have an 03 SE 4x4 V8, and the ONLY rattle I have is in the sunroof mechanism -- RIGHT BY MY HEAD! Like the previous poster, I hate rattles in cars. I don't care if it's a $15k car or a $50k car, face it, that's a LOT of cash to slowly go insane over a noise you can't find and fix.

And speaking of Jeeps, I'll one up you. I had a Suzuki Samurai in college, and it was easier to list what didn't rattle on that. But I have to say, that little bugger was a very tough and capable vehicle. And it never let me down.

I have a rattle that keeps coming back under the glove box. There's a black plastic panel held on by one screw, and if I remove it, play around with the stuff inside, it will go away for a while. But it always comes back. I think it might have something to do with the computer components under there such as the 4WD controls.

Rattles everywhere, strange noise and vibrations on certain speeds.

I can hear how much wind there is outside, and I can also hear how fast I'm goin, not to mention the sound of the tires...

But I love this rig. Why? Because it's a part of me! And how wonderful it is to drive it around (NOT in town though)

But of course, comparing my 4runner with most others, well, it isn't actually fair.
