Amazon Sucks

That sucks, I have had nothing but good exprience from amazon. Maybe it just depends on who you get when you call. I got a full refund on a 120$ flashlighy and they let me keep it. I soldered the positive wire and it is working since. They have refunded me expedited shipping on ups/fedex f* ups. I got a 50% refund on a computer with 1 dead pixel. There were more issues they handled well but dont feel like going through it all.

Sucks to hear that, I think that's certainly an outlier case here though. Hopefully you can get everything resolved quickly. I've never had an issue with Amazon, and neither has anyone that I know. I've only had one issue with a shipment and they fixed it immediately.

I remember working in a large production commercial bakery, the summer after Highschool. Large ovens to raise the dough, and even hotter large ovens to cook the product.

Outside it could be over 100° F, inside it would routinely be 115-120° F. There was constantly flour floating in the air. Being on the maintenance crew that cleaned and fixed the machines, I was required to wear a hair net, hard hat, earplugs, and safety glasses at all times.

So I would be sweating like a pig all day long, in a very hot and loud environment. The flour floating in the air would land on your skin, and form a paste when it mixed with your sweat. Trying to wash all the 'paste' off at the end of the shift, was always fun.

I recall thinking that if there is a Hell, this would have to be it.

The working conditions I've seen in several news stories about working in an Amazon warehouse, look pretty pleasant in comparison.

My thoughts exactly. Nobody is forcing anyone to work anywhere. Same thing with the Walmart working conditions. I don't get it...

I used Visa with PayPal so eventually I'll get resolution.

I never use checking, always credit - for these kinds of situations.

Good call, I also only use credit online and for the most part even in person. I rarely ever use my debit card now, just pay off the credit card in full every month plus the 3% cash back with no fees what so ever is cool. :pimp:

Same here. My problems have been with our post office though. Our neighborhood has the boxes at the end of each cul-de-dac along the main road. Word is our route is tied in with another area that is dreaded by the postal carriers, so basically we get whoever shows up to work last or they Haze the newbs by giving them our route. I get mail for the people the next street over (with the same house number) regularly. God only knows where my mail goes.

Anyway, there have been two or three instances where I never received my product. Amazon has been quicker than me to write off the loss. I've contacted them to say "Hey, it shows delivered but I don't have it, if I don't see it in a couple days what are my options?" Every time they've sent me a response within a half hour asking if I want a refund or to have the order re-shipped. Once I took the refund, and once they reshipped. Each time I waited an extra day to respond, and one of the three times a neighbor (the one whose mail I always get) came by and told me this was left in their box.

UPS and Fed Ex I've never had an issue, just USPS.

Then again, maybe with Amazon my being a "Prime" member buys better service? I dunno. That, and I have a very low level of trust for anybody selling online (well, selling anything really), so if I get the slightest notion that something is shady I'll go elsewhere or just do without.

Good luck to the OP. I'd be livid if that happened to me - and don't blame you for being pissed at Amazon. They should take more responsibility to ensure those they do business with are legitimate, and do more for customers when complaints/issues arise.

Have you tried chatting with them? Emails take for ever. Just chat with them explain your situation. Every time I have had an issue they take my side.

granted I usually go with prime everything. Anytime I have an issue I usually get my money back before I even send the thing back. Or as soon as post man scans the bar code...

I'd give chat a shot. explain everything if you have proper documentation with delivery confirmation, there is very little amazon can deny you...
