Amber light bar hood scoop mod

Amber light bar was on back order for like almost two months - finally got it installed over the weekend. Initially I had one Rigid SR2 10" white installed under hood scoop with another 10" installed on left side of lower grille while waiting for amber light bar to be delivered. After amber light bar came in, I swapped out the white with amber and installed the 2nd SR2 white on the right side of lower grille. I am now finished with the lighting mod.

Dually flood lights are awesome. It's a great investment that can be used for outdoor activity, i.e. camping, etc. The light output is quite effective because I had to use it several times to fend off tailgaters at nighttime...most of them backed off but one guy was really tilted so I decided to stay away from him and slowed down until he passed. I mean it's better than brakechecking someone...

I have yet towed anything with these installed but the way it is installed - it is flush with the rear bumper so there shouldn't be any issues if you're towing something as it will not be in the way. Obviously if you're hauling like a bike trailer then you can be rest assured your light output will be obstructed by the wall of the trailer itself. This mod was inspired by this picture I came across somewhere on this forum before it was taken down due to Photobucket fiasco. I believe he installed lights underneath his body but I opted for maximum light exposure by installing it underneath rear bumper. I will take night pictures of the rear lights later this evening
