America this week, what the hell?

Trump does not organize, fund, promote or associate with the KKK.

Whereas BLM is directly involved in the organizing of protest and perpetuation of lies used to incite violence. A public statement of condemnation is nothing more than lip service.

Can you provide a source for the BLM's direct involvement and lies that are inciting specific violence or is this just something Stacy Dash told you?

Well at least we are much more respectful than Facebook. I think you guys often bring up for points. About being Canadian ... do you guys have the same kind of racial problems as the US? Any racial problems?

Oh hell yeah, but it racism seems to be less systemic (than what is portrayed in the USA).....also, we generally have less media 24 hrs coverage and media "opinion" gurus which has ramifications on both sides of freedom. We have less partisan media in general but we still have major corruption. Also, the election cycle is less of a "business" and is usually over in a few months. Just some very quick observations which should be subject to scrutiny....

Hands up, don't shoot.

Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon.

I could continue if you'd like...

This thread started out so well with this idea. Then quickly devolved into this being BlackLivesMatter's fault, stupid liberals and their communist news networks, etc. Just waiting on someone to tell me my opinion doesn't matter because I'm Canadian.

Your Opinion Does Not matter. Not because you are Canadian either. Actually none of our opinions matter. The only ones who matter are the people who set policy and make laws. Can you sway their opinion? By yourself? No. Hell no. Here's who could make a difference individually who is not an official or a politician:

1. Leader of a large organization or corporation.
2. Multi millionaire or billionaire.

That's all. If you don't fall into one of these two categories then you and your opinions suck and are useless.

You are back to using that one vote you have except for the Canadians. They don't even have that.

Have you ever been to Canada?

Its not like we live in some drastically different world up here. In fact, apart from free healthcare and gun laws its very similar to the more northern parts of the US. (ie. If i travel down to Seattle or Portland there is culturally no real difference).

As for racial problems, yes. Particularly on the west coast where we have had decades of high Asian and Indian immigration. Racial tension and violence in Vancouver in particular has certainly escalated since I was a kid.

Oh no, you are very important. When you fall asleep, the entire world winks out of existence.

You are everything!

What a willfully ignorant interpretation and response. You significantly devalue your own opinion when you post childish things like this.
Although this does better help me understand how you also reached such a ridiculously off base and unfounded opinion of BLM too.

You are close minded and divisive, you also added an entire paragraph to your original post which was much longer than your original paragraph; so much for grammar corrections. Logic requires the ability to be fair and impartial as well as open minded. Your logic is self serving, thanks for the trophy, it's a childish attempt.
I am merely saying that I cannot walk in a black-man's shoes or he in mine. Meaning, we are all shaped by our life experiences with means we can judge but could be wrong.
Again with the close mindedness comment and yet not real response, or rebuttal to the initial questions at hand. You simply keep making attempts at my grammar corrections and post, sorry I didn't feel like quoting you twice and correcting it(I dont need to boost my post count)?
If you want to get down to logic the definition doesn't involve "fairness" and open mindedness. Logic is defined as "reasoning conducted or assessed according to strict principles of validity"
Aha now I see what they mean with the saying "the truth shall set you free". The reality is you focus solely on feel goods and self justification instead of the hard truth and validity.
There is nothing self serving about my statement I have only called you out for an explanation of your reaction to the matter. And so far all YOU have done is made personal attacks and still no true response. But hey if it helps you with your close minded self serving day then by all means continue.

Oh those poor good ol boys we pay to protect and serve us got their little dick feelings hurt by a 30 second chant. Boohoo.

And there we go. Law enforcement had it coming.

Thanks for confirming what we all knew you were thinking.

Truly disgusting.

yep, keep hiding behind "grammar corrections", say it enough, you will even believe it.....as for your questions, I already answered but you likely missed it. Keep it closed, it got you this far.

EDIT: I just quoted you twice, because apparently I can't add on to an initial post as that is seen as divisive.

See how ridiculous this makes your "argument" look.

Truly if we used more logic(read FACTS) it would override judgement and thus we wouldn't have any more confusion, but as we know that will never happen because we must be "fair" and "open minded". . . .sorry I feel like tough love works better. Skating through life thinking you can do no wrong and as long as its your life experience and you can justify any action. This doesn't make it right. Makes you in fact numb to reality and consequences and avoiding responsibility and facts for self serving reason.

Wow. Having a bad day?

Isn't BLM a great example of how everyday people can make a difference? They have certainly been successful in bringing the issue to attention and creating debate all over the country. Which could quite possibly succeed at creating real policy or social reform.
People complain about them shutting down bridges ,or interstates, or whatever and how inconvenient it is. But isn't that the point? Protests are meant to be inconvenient. To force people to notice and pay attention to the issue at hand. Had they not done such things a lot of people probably never would have heard of this group.

I realize we all only have the ability to affect change among a small group of people, those around us and whom we have regular contact with, but shouldn't we still try to do that? To make our own small part of the world a little bit better and more informed? If the good, intelligent people of the world all stopped trying to make it a better place we would be in real trouble. One person may not be able to affect policy change, but what they can do is affect those around them and as a group they suddenly have more power.

I see where you are coming from but I also know that burying our collective heads in the sand is not going to help the situation either.

If it was not a hate crime then what was it, I stand behind my opinion but I never need to ram it down your throat or pigeon hole you so I can go on ;). BTW, not suggesting that "you" do that, seriously.

It's ok to admit to fear......but that should not be a justification to execute.

Will check it out but it could just be spin.....we just lap that up don't we when it fits our narrative. The two officers that took the life of "the beast" did have body cams but they both stopped working at the that time.
if not a hate crime, then it was the LEO's doing their jobs. im not sure where "hate crime" even came from.

wait now, before you said excessive force. now its execute.

based on what I have read and the videos I have watched on the police shootings, they would be justified. I don't see excessive force, and I don't see executions. fear? yes most likely. that would be a reasonable conclusion for anyone in that situation.

yes, it may just be a spin, but its very interesting. and IF that is the case, it explains a bit more why things went down the way they did. though, for ME, I don't need that extra explanation. putting myself in their shoes, I may very well have responding in exactly the same way.

as far as the body cams, where/how do they attach? they struggled with that guy for a bit, its very likely they were dislodged or damaged in the altercation. that is not unreasonable.

I have never been to Canada but I would like to one day.

Isn't BLM a great example of how everyday people can make a difference?

What difference?
- No new national laws, few if any new state laws regarding police reform.
- Army of anti police protestors, some of who are now murdering police officers.

Made a difference? I don't see a positive difference.

Btw sadly another police officer was ambushed (in MO) and shot today. So it is now trending.

Have you heard of the "Ferguson Effect"? The difference I see is police officers now engage less with the community and now murder, assault and rape are SkYROCKETING in most major urban community across the board US.

I see a difference and it isn't positive.
