My opinion and observation
alton sterling disobeyed multiple direct orders, officer was wrestling for control of sterlings right arm, gun was in right pocket, im not a police protocol expert but it looks justified.

BLM, I watched 4 hours of live stream of the protest that was held here this past weekend in Phoenix. what I got from it was: black lives matter, all lives matter, pro police, anti police brutality, peaceful protest, there were a couple knuckleheads on both sides, one trump supporter waving trump sign trying to stir things up, he was ignored. Couple young men flipping off police, they were ignored.

What many here fail to understand- in regards to the Sterling shooting et al; is the specific situations surrounding the shooting.
A lot of you are seeing the video through untrained eyes first off. Without knowing or maybe just without considering ALL of the variables.
Let me break it down a bit:
1) A call was received stating a man was brandishing a firearm (Matching Sterlings description).
2) Officers showed up and the man fitting the description was non-compliant to their orders.
3) When they tried to get him cuffed so they could do their jobs as law enforcement officers- he resisted arrest.
4) In the video, it is hard to see, but it appears his right arms goes towards his pocket, that's when one of the LEO's say's "He's got a gun" and that's when he gets shot. You can see the LEO picking up a gun from Sterlings right side as he is getting up.
We do not have all of the info on this case as of yet either, so speculate all you want, but please withhold judgement until we have more info.
Sterling is no saint, he has a rap sheet, check it out.
There are folks who believe LEO's are out too get black people. The facts do not support this.
Are there bad cops? You betcha! Just like any other walk in life, but unlike all those other walks of life, when a cop is bad it is much worse as they are tasked with policing the community and have authority that can be abused in very negative fashion.
That's not all cops, that's not anywhere close to a majority of cops. It's a small minority. VERY SMALL.
I see these types of shootings and put myself in the shoes of the people who were shot. Here's how I see it.
If the police were called out and I matched a description of someone doing something wrong and I wasn't doing anything wrong. I'd simply speak with them, listen to them and it would be resolved. If they decided to charge me I would fight it in COURT, not with them.
If you resist the orders of LEO's and resist arrest- you SHOULD absolutely expect to get roughed up and if you continue to resist and reach for a gun, you SHOULD absolutely expect to get shot.
It's called "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes".
It's incredible that there are so many folks willing to demonize officers before facts are in and we even know what happened.
Video's are hard to understand. The tone of the interaction between LEO's and the suspect is hard to understand unless you are there. How things can go sideways in seconds is hard to understand unless you've been in a situation like this and know it well.
IF a shooting is a bad shoot, then by all means charge the F out of the LEO and make them responsible for their actions, if it was justified then give them a hi-five and move on.
On to a the bigger issue.
Radicalism and wedge issues- splitting the country down any type of line possible and turning citizen against citizen.
The BLM movement is ridiculous. If black lives mattered (All of them) to these people why don't they focus their attention on places like Chicago where 2,000 people and counting have been murdered this year?
Why is it that black lives taken by other black people (Unless in uniform) don't matter; only the ones taken by white police officers matter?
They shut down interstates (Illegally) and actively stir shit up. It's big business. Soro's has given tens of millions of dollars to these people to F shit up. It's a distraction. Watch my left hand, pay no attention to my right hand...
It's because the media and the government seemingly want the racial divide to widen. They want to divide between upper class and lower class to widen. They want the divide between Liberals and conservatives to widen. They want the divide between Republicans and Democrats to widen. The want the divide between LEO's and citizens to widen.
Every news hit piece and every Presidential address in the aftermath of these shootings foment hatred and division.
The instability we are seeing right now is being created from within from the top down.
You must ask yourself why? Why is it that they want the citizens of this nation to be divided? Huh, let me think- it's because we are so easy to control when we are pitted against one another. When they can force us to choose a side and hate the other side they've won. They can walk out any old anti-liberty anti American law based on peoples fear and- watch the left hand not the right hand- poof we lose a bit more of our national identity and our freedoms each day.
Stop falling for the BS and switch your brains back on.
The police as a whole are not out to kill black people. Black people as a while are not out to kill white people.
What is happening is the Federal government and its propaganda arm the main stream media IS out to divide each and every one of us in any way they can. Control, money, power, etc.
Do not succumb to the fear, do not allow them to change what makes this country great for the false sense of "safety". Safety does not and will NEVER exist. It's the promise of the tyrant. The hope of the blind.
Turn off the partisan hate machine, stop being radicalized to further agendas working against all of us and turn your brains back on.

Many city and county police forces are now offering people a chance to go through force on force training to get perspective. A few priests and one person allied with BLM locally went through it and when interview on the radio they said it totally changed their perspective. The priest commented that he had no idea how fast it could escalate. The BLM affiliated person after being "killed" the first few times actually "shot" the suspect 2 times and used a lot of force "excessive force?" (His words) on 2 other occasions.
Most all convicted felons have a firearm ban. They also know that if caught with a firearm it's a big possible prison sentence. Most felons became that from making bad choices. Stands to reason if there is a history of bad choices being made then more bad choices will be made in the future. A person does not easily change their habits. It takes work and support. Some find the support in God, some use family, some use friends, and some go to support groups.
This isn't a black thing. It's not even a felon thing. I see 2 major points that are present in a high percentage of struggling individuals. Lack of a family structure and lack of religious values. A lot of the people who end up poor and on the streets had a poor family life growing up. Wither it was the ghetto/hood, or the trailer park, or just suburban America where mom and dad both worked 80 hours a week and bought their kids out of trouble.
Between the ages of 18-21 I worked at an all ages pool hall in Redmond Washington. Very near Microsoft, Nintendo, Boeing, and many other high paying high demand jobs. The kids that came there at 12-16 years old you would think had it all. Newest clothes, newest phones, new cars at 16 years old. But the lack of a home life inevitably led them in to trouble. All the employees got to know the police very well as they would come in and actually try and help the kids with their problems. Some it would work on but others would just ignore the help offered and continue trying to find their own way. No job but a paid for credit card. Bribing people to buy them beer and smokes. One kid even got caught running around with the same gun that his brother accidentally killed himself with. That firearm was supposed to be confiscated and destroyed. But mom and dad had a significant amount of influence and money so the firearm was "re-confiscated" and he was released in to his parents custody.
I think money has some factor in it but and its a big but. Family or the lack of is one of the biggest factors.

Shouting all lives matter at a BLM even is akin to going to a breast cancer awareness event and shouting all cancer matters.
