On another note, I would like to see the debate on the Constitution and the Federalist Papers. That would be an interesting read.

Edit: After going back to "refresh" my memory of the Federalist Papers, whomever decides to debate had better be on point. Tell you what, if you guys decide to do this I will make it a sticky! It could be that good!

What's amazing is Hamilton was so far ahead of his time and much of what he wrote is still relative and important today.

Unfortunately statesman these days don't even compare to what the founding fathers had knowledge of. But how can they when they have had no real world experience, or leadership, or actually being and fighting in a war. The founding fathers truly had experienced it all and this is what made their forward thinking absolutely brilliant. Today most government individuals are solely in it for self serving reasons and not as a duty to make the country better.

Actually read up on both of those as well as the one I linked earlier going off of the FBI crime statistics, the reality is it doesn't matter, because fear sells their agenda so again as we have seen blatant facts and statistics will be dismissed that don't fit the narrative. Pretty much can be summed up by a great Chesterton quote:

What we should try to do is make politics as local as possible. Keep the politicians near enough to kick them. Again these were his thoughts back in 1921. Imagine if he saw what our current politicians are doing.

When in a position of authority where you are "allowed" to take the lives of others you must have a high regard for human life. It is fragile and valuable.

Yes, us liberals tend to like to pursue higher education. If that is viewed as being spoon fed a position by someone who has no first hand experience, so be it. It generally bothers 'us' not...those of us who went to excellent institutions of higher learning. Feel free to carry on with your black and white world.

So your opening statement is now implying that apparently ALL conservatives dont have an education? That's quite the profound statement for one well educated individual. While one could logically argue that yes you were spoon fed what was taught in our education system which some would say is a majority of liberal ideologies. But yes, back to your black and white word? Or can we even say that as that could somehow be considered racist in todays world?
