Yes, true , not my words and should have disclosed that.

.........As for Hillary, .............she's got enormous experience governing that is all very well documented for better or worse that you don't need me providing links for here.

Can you please elaborate on why you believe she is the lesser of two evils?

Her track record and criminal activity don't seem to jive with being the lesser of two evils, so please elaborate on your specific reasoning.

I can't stand either trump or Klinton. But Klinton is easily the one of the worst human beings in the history of America from all I know of her. Trumps not great, but he isn't even on the same wavelength of despicable as Klinton. So I'm curious as to your specific opinions on this subject matter.

I'm kinda uninformed here. What exactly is her tract record?

The only thing I see here in PA is bad ads about Trump mocking a disabled reporter, this woman and blood coming out of her wherever, and some other nonsense. Like high school all over again. Great temperament!

What exactly is Trump's plan for health care? Job/economy? Foreign policy? The only answer I hear is "I will make America great again"...

The first debate will be the ultimate reality show :pop2:

Elaborate? Why? So you can disagree with me as I do you? And to what end? I simply think you're horribly wrong to choose the male liberal candidate.

If you are saying that Hillarys failures outweigh her successes as a public figure in all her roles, then don't vote for her........and I will because I believe her good outweighs her bad and she is a far far better choice than the other candidate.

So you were just using it to insult republican voters as well. Thanks for clearing that up.

I was using it to counter the previous post to mine insulting democrat voters. I don't recall you having anything to say about that one.

That post was a shot at a candidate not the voters, unless you are talking about a different post that I missed.

The meme just rubbed me the wrong way. I hear that shit everyday about republican voters being stupid and uninformed and it is just not true. Not any more true than it is for democrats. We are surrounded by idiots.

I keep telling myself to stay out of this thread, but it's like a train wreck I can't help myself. :redbrick:

Ok after some research. Google does work after all. Hillary was a fairly unknown lawyer until she got on the Water Gate comity. She was removed from that comity due to ethical concerns. She rose to some level of recognition when Bill Clinton became the governor of Arkansas. Getting a position on the board or Walmart as well as several other companies. After that she became the First Lady and was thrust in to the spotlight. Then after 8 years as the First Lady she ran for senator of New York and won a seat. During her time as senator Clinton she authored 1 bill that passed. This bill renamed a post office in New York. She then ran against senator Obama for the democratic nomination and lost. She next became Secretary of State. There were several item she claims credit for and to an extent rightfully so. She helped begin the Iran deal. She help smooth over relation with Russia. She traveled around the world and spent many trips in the Middle East. I tried to leave this a close to just a job resumé as possible. The only reason I mentioned she was removed from the watergate comity was because I would venture most of the people on this board do not know many details of it.

Judge for yourself of the merit of her accomplishments.

As a side note and I have been preaching this for years. Don't watch her speech tonight, or any other politician for that matter. All parties. Get a copy of the transcript and read it first. When you read the information you tend to get a better grasp on what message is being delivered. Then if you still want to watch it that should not be a problem as virtually every news source and streaming network has those archived and available for at least a short time. I did it to trumps speech and it does make a difference. I challenge all of you to do it. Read their transcript before watching the speech. It's a very different perspective.

Take the president last night. He gave an excellent speech. But if you read the transcript it is just that a speech in words only and nothing in it relates to what he has said over and over again during his administration.

^^^ for a minute there I thought she was one of the worst human being you've ever known because she wants to take your guns away and give your female friends the right to chose on you know what...

What's Trump's plan on critical issues again?

Well it might have something to do with Fox news. In poll after poll fox news viewers are proven to be the most misinformed of all the major news organizations. In fact, those who watch no news at all scored higher than Fox news viewers.

Fox News is the leading cable news channel.

Forbes Welcome

The intent wasn't to insult you as an individual or even democrat voters as a group - my interpretation of the meme was that it made light of a series of situations involving 2 very specific individuals - I'm surprised you took it so personally, especially at your age (no offense meant but I would have understood with someone much younger and less wise of worldly ways).

On a side note, the back and forth in this thread is astonishing to me. Of all of the forums I frequent, the amount of butthurt here completely blows all of the others way out....not even close. No wonder we as a country are so divided right now - people are constantly trying to out-douche each other and refuse to see or hear what the other person is saying because they're so entrenched in their side winning and the other side losing.

If that was directed at my post I never brought up Hillarys stance on issues. Just posted a brief job resumé. I have said it before and I will say it again. I do not like trump much but dislike Hilary more. So I am voting for trump.

I don't think I'm following. You mean you dislike Hilary more, as in, you dislike the color brown more than yellow? With no rime or reason?

The only analogy I can think of is lenders. They would loan to someone with no credit over someone with bad credit.

I'm just trying to figure out why people are behind Trump is all...

I believe if we elect Hillary we will have 4 more years of Obama. I believe he has done a abysmal job at the presidency. Race relations are worse than any time in my lifetime. We have made "deals" with Iran and now Iran is thumbing its nose at us am saying we are all that is wrong. We have a president who has followed through on his threats of if have a phone and a pen. If the phone doesn't work I will use the pen. We lambasted George W. For his excessive executive orders but have remained silent in obama's executive orders. Isis was allowed to form after Obama pulled all of our troops out of Iraq just befor an election then said I ended it. Now we have a major world wide terror groups that needs to be addressed. Obama refuses to connect terrorism and radical Islam. I don't believe we can afford 4 more years of Obama. Most of these attacks that have taken place in Europe in the past month have been Syrian. As well as some small attacks here. And Hillary want a 500% increase in Syrian refugee's. She has constantly advocated for open boarders. We already have roughly 94,000,000 citizens not in the work force. 15 million unemployed in this country. $103,000,000,000 roughly in unfunded liabilities.

I don't think we are doing very well at all

Edit: I forgot to give reasons why I'm voting for him over Hillary

I have stated befor trump understands budgets and business. He will attempt to secure the boarder. And wants to halt immigration from countries affected by terrorism until proper vetting can be done.

Obama did this with Iraq and it was called a smart idea.

You mean to tell me because they're in same party they will be the same exact person? Then Trump will be another George W and we'll be starting another war that may or may not be mistake. If you blame Obama for pulling out our troops early which created ISIS, you should really put the blame on Bush. He destabilizedid the entire region by ousting Sadam.

Trump understand budget and business all right. He called it bankruptcy. Look up how many times he's done that to get around the law. Is he going to do to America what he does with his business? He says the great Wall of America will be paid for by Mexico. And the Mexican president gives him the finger. Go figure. But I do agree with his stance on immigrants from terror nations though among some other things too.

Trust me RunninInGA, I didn't take it as an insult. I don't take meme's seriously in any way, I find them amusing as a whole. More specifically the "found this" was worth another since I had seen the one I posted earlier that day.

Along this line I agree with Bevo that I tell myself to stay away from this thread but keep coming back. The idea that anyone will change anyone else's opinion is ludicrous.

I created a local club & the requisite forum. I specified that religion and politics were banned. These topics turn friends to enemies when everyone really have one thing in common. In this case it's our trucks, certainly not our politics.

Well to start with most all of congress voted to go to war. Most all of obama's advisors said not to leave Iraq. Obama being an attorney and community organizer for his career decided he knew better than all the decades of military experience in the pentagon and pulled out anyways

George W and trump are not even close to the same people. In fact the largest split faction of the Republican Party against trump is the Bush contingent. They are very different from each other. If you read or listened to obama's speech last night for Hillary he commented at different time how if you vote for Hillary you will help cement the legacy of what they have started. So I took that as Hillary will finish what Obama started. Pass the torch. Ect.

And yes in hind sight ousting Sadam was a mistake but the country was stable until the tens of thousand of troops were suddenly pulled out. He even let them know the timeline. If you were looking to do something bad and you were told that the "peace keepers" would be gone after a certain date would you wait till they were gone. That's what happened. After he announced the pull out the violence died down to a very quiet chatter. Soon after the withdrawal it became apparent that they used that time to plan and moved very fast to take power.

The blacks that hate whites and the whites that hate blacks are the same today as they were years ago. Just now more of it is on social media which brings it more attention.

What's Trump's plan on critical issues again?

You have made a few posts here that we differ on but this is spot on in my opinion.

As for people here getting offended on the Trump meme after "Liberals" have been bashed, blamed and insulted on almost every page in this thread, ask yourselves "why" that one posted meme upsets you the most.

In my opinion, saying that you will vote for Trump because you can't vote for Hillary does not actually make sense when you regurgitate the reasons as those same reasons also apply to Trump but he also has never done one thing for any voter outside of take every advantage available to him to line his pocket (I don't blame him for that but if you lead a country that way you will likely reap what you sow). He knows nothing about foreign policy, binding legal trade deals or how different a government is run compared to a private enterprise designed for profit. If you think that he is the solution and will actually take the US in a different direction, think hard as he has zero salient policies and cannot deliver on almost everything he is promising. Hillary, while spending 30 years plus as a civil servant and getting a lot achieved for many average American voters (and lots of pitfalls, as well, that no elected official is immune from) might have political baggage but she is highly skilled at how a government works compared to a business. If you want America to be run by Trump, no way he can hit the ground running....he has too learn to much, too fast not to make many, many mistakes. he will have to be baby sat.

People talk about Bengazi and that it's Clinton's fault, seriously, that's a stretch after the Bush and Cheney Iraq fiasco that was blatantly done for reasons that had nothing to do with Al Qaeda or for the benefit of the average American and in doing so created to catalyst for ISIS and Iran being able to exercise undue influence in the mid-east. If you think Obama and Clinton are to blame for ISIS (which is causing world wide issues not just in the US) you will need to look back a little further for the roots. AFAIK, Obama tried to keep troops there but the elected Iraqi government did not want to give them immunity from prosecution.

It's very difficult to make a case for Trump against Hillary without mirroring the same reasons and ignoring her experience. Trump is a demagogue and the last one that became a leader started WWII.
