America this week, what the hell?

do I think he can get the job done? absolutely.
its not like hes new to making deals, or dealing with high power people. in fact, I would say he probably has more experience with that than Hillary does.

to directly respond to the above, yes I think he can. he has clearly shown us he does not do things "the way they have always been done". in another word, DIFFERENT. which is exactly what we need.
He has zero experience on deals in a government enviroment. As a private individual, he can walk away from a bad deal, government deals are much more complex as the intended outcome has likely more interests that have to be represented and appeased. Look at China for example. Likely the largest transfer of wealth in my lifetime but was it really wealth or debt? They can't dare let America decide to default and say, stick it. They are now enslaved to your debt and you are too big to fail. The North American middle class paid for this leverage and we now have them by the short hairs. Only way to keep that leverage is to keep out spending them on the military. Of course, this is another simplification and redistribution of income.

Wow. As simple as that huh? Just let 100's of thousands of workers go and let major businesses just crumble? Ha ha. You're all a joke.

The look on this mans face tells it all.....

And he/they was almost successful on delaying the collapse on the next administration. Man, would that have been a spin opportunity.

_#1_

As far as trump using bankruptcy to get around the law. That's the dumbest thing I have heard in a while.

Perhaps I didn't stated correctly. I read he filed 4 Chapter11 in 25 years. Is that a lot? Maybe not for Trump as he deals with many businesses I think. My point was, if he takes a business and run it to the ground, is he making good business decisions? Or was it out of his controls and it would fail either way?

So what was Trump's proposal to stimulate the economy again? I know Hilary outlined hers all the time but she's kinda boring so I tuned away.

Total simplification & lack of understabding of the concept.

What is the purpose of government?

I will simplify it: the redistribution of income (a resourse)

edit: I think the purpose of a business is self explanatory.

Umm you should read the United States of America Constitution. It specifically spells out the role of government. And it says nothing about restriction of wealth. In fact if you look when the percentage of federally elected officials went for 20-30% attorney/ 70-80% working class people to an a most exact reverse you can see when government got bloated. Bills and laws became pages and pages of lawyer speak and forcing the common man to hire an lawyer to interpret it for him (which is also against the constitution). So before you make a statement about the purpose of government please read the governing documents.

Edit: im not joking here. If you would like a copy of the constitution and Bill of rights in the original language I will send you one. PM me if your interested ThorInc

List any two things in your constitution about the role of government that does not require redistribution of income to achieve or maintain? The main purpose of any government is the redistribution of income. If you prefer to use the term wealth then it misleads one to think that you are taking from the rich to give to the poor which is not the same thing. As for the restrictions on wealth that you refer to in you post above, that has nothing to do with the purpose of government but most successful governments run a reasonably balanced budget or it should be a goal......Canada sucks at it but it has been done for short periods. I am not saying anything about not running a surplus but remember if there is a surplus you better be able to influence where it goes or you certainly will not get any back and it's your money too.

Ok we will start

Article I
Sections 1,3,4,5 don't not ever mention monies. The collection or distribution of any sort

Article II
Sections 2,3,4

Article III
Section 2,3

Article IV
Section 1,2,3,4

Article V
All

Article VII
All
That's a good start. I know it's more than the 2 you asked for but I have been accused of being an overachiever

Since I am not sure if you are going to read them I will let you know Article VI discuses debt and treaties. So will grant you those are about money
Article III section 1 discuses pay to the judicial branch
Article II section 2 discuses pay executive branch
Article I section 2,6 discuss pay and taxes.

List two roles of government and tell me how they achieve those roles.......just list two roles and ask yourself how do the roles of government per your constitution get achieved. It will all boil down to income(a resource) redistribution. It's basic economics.

You ask for any 2 parts that don't mention redistribution so I give them to you. Now you change the question. So let's address that. In today's corrupt progressive government nothing gets done like that. Upon founding of the country providing places for schools and for churches to meet if a government building was available they we encouraged to use it rent free if it was not being used by the government at the time.
Most all of the now ABC government positions were volunteer when they started. That's right citizens would spend their time to inform the government local, federal, or otherwise if they found a possible problem. In many towns in the Wild West before they made state hood the sheriff was a volunteer roll. No pay and you usually got shot at. We were known as a nation of iron men and wooden ships. This has changed dramatically since the government has ballooned. They don't need you to do anything. They will take care of you. Sit back relax and let them do everything for you.

Not sure how it quite works in Canada but that's not how we were designed to be run as a Republic.

Let's simplify this for you as you seemed locked into the articles of the constitution. You initial post re. The US constitution referred to the "role of government", my comment was to the purpose of government. Would you agree that one role of government is to maintain and even improve a nation's military? If you agree that this is one role of government, how does this role get achieved? Nobody is changing the question, we might actually be talking about two different things. Government taxes you and is then suppose to use those taxes to provide a role of government, say maintaining a military (redistribution of income). It's not brain surgery man, it is simple economics.

Ok where are you going with this?

1) that is not the role of the US government by even 5th grade standards

2) I find it hard to believe that you personally think that is the role is the US government

3) What is your actual point?

Once again I will list your original question and how you are changing it. I am not going to let you corner me in a thinly veiled attempt to make you sound correct. I have 2 times answered your questions and you have 2 times tried to shift the topic ever so slightly.

So I once again will offer you if you would like it a copy of the USA Constitution and The Bill Of Rights in the original language.
Free of charge. This will help you make a more informed question on anything in the USA government. I am not going to do the work for you but I will help you search it out.
Final offer take it or leave it.

So how is your military maintained? Who pays for it? Private individuals? Does not some of your taxpayer dollars not go to maintaining the nation's military? Your military is privatized?

If you feel cornered, that's your issue, I will state again "the main purpose of any government is the redistribution of income".

What ever you want to believe. I can't force you to be correct. So I will let you believe that all governments are the same.

...and the difference between spending money and "redistribution of income" is?

Nothing.

Which is what I said in an earlier post that you snubbed your nose over and said I didn't understand.
No, you equated running a for profit business to running a government. People run a husiness usually for personal profit. A government's purpose is income redistribution. If you don't wnt to admit there is a difference, than I sure can't teach you the conceptual difference.

Lesson:
The biggest difference between a business and a government is this:
Governments are designed to spend money.
Businesses are designed to make money.

It's that simple. Anyone can spend it but can they only spend what they have? My biggest concern.

Total simplification & lack of understabding of the concept.

What is the purpose of government?

I will simplify it: the redistribution of income (a resourse)

No, I listed the DIFFERENCE which I helpfully quoted above. Well? Pretty sure I understand a few things...

yes, absolutely. if that is what that company has earned. the government has no business mucking about in the free market. and it should not have anything to do with private business. they absolutely need to be able to succeed OR fail on their own.

im a joke because I want them to be held accountable?
