Amp Locations for a 3rd Gen?

Hey everyone,
Looking for photos and ideas for where to mount an amp in a 3rd gen runner.

Can't do photo at the moment, but under the driver's seat is a great location, followed by the passengers side if you have a small amp, as the rear heater gets in the way. If you have a cool running amp (class D usually) you can place it under the rear seats.

I haven't really checked yet but I know I have heated seats and from the front not much room under there. It is a Class D Alpine MRP-M500.

I have my 5 channal amp mounted under my drivers seat as well. I think it's one of the best spots personally.

I have mine mounted on the rear of the rear seat. just make sure than they are in there good otherwise they will pull out. i'll see if I can post up some image but you get the idea.

Not the greatest pic, but should give you an idea that you should have plenty of room. This is a JVC 800w

The alpine should fit fine, I had a 4 channel alpine pdx that was the same basic size under the passengers seat.

Is that a 10" Sub? How does it sound?
I am picking up a 3 month old set up from a friend. Alpine MRP-M500 with an Alpine Type R sub in a 1 cu. ft. box for $185.

It is a 12", but yea it sounds great perfect addition to the factory sound system.

Good to know. How many watts is the amp?

RMS Power (at 14.4V THD+N, 20-200Hz)

Per channel into 4 ohms: 300W x 1 (0.08% THD)
Per channel into 2 ohms: 500W x 1
