I felt pretty confident in myself replacing the JVC head unit door speakers , installing a rear view camera hooked up to the Kenwood head unit and accessing my amp and subwoofer with attempt to replace them . I couldn't figure out how to adapt the terminals of the JL amp I was going to use for the subwoofer and decided to go for it and buy a 4 channel JL amp for the four door speakers and a separate amp for the 7 inch JL subwoofer. I ordered two amp installation kits and now about 4 months have gone by until I have had a chance to put it in. The first thing I did was look to attach the power cables directly to the battery. I wanted to quit right there . The power cables were 1/4 inch thick each and I could not imagine how I was going to safely run these boa constrictors through the firewall into the cabin an under the seats or back to the area of the original amp. I was only planning on using the four door speakers and the subwoofer . Does anyone know of any decent car stereo shops in Jacksonville or Savannah which would be willing to take up this project for me? (I have an Acura TLX as my daily driver, so I could be without the car for a few days). What about the guys at Best Buy, have you guys had any experience with them and would they install something they did not sell?
