This morning I had a chance to take my rig out with the new equipment. The body roll is almost NON EXISTENT. The springyness that was there with the stock coils is GONE. The new shocks handle AMAZING and are just firm enough. Overall, the truck was lifted about 2.5" with an add'l 1/2-1" coming from the larger tires. The biggest improvement is the stance which is now LEVEL. I was skeptical about losing the stance the truck had, but being level it handles much much better. Lots of pics attached, I'm not sure they uploaded in the order I wanted.

That looks great, I've been contemplating the OME lift for a while and I think that just confirmed my decision.

You stated that handling is improved which is a huge reason I want to swap out my stock setup. Does that chassis still get upset when you go over bumps or is that worked out too?

I purposely took the scenic route home this morning form the grocery store to see how the backroads would feel. railrod tracks, potholes, whatever...could barely even feel them!

Note that the setup I got was slightly different than the standard OME ultimate lift kit as I substituted 906s in the rear to result in a slightly lower lift. Apparently this also results in a level stance which I love. No doubt the NTGs are a huge help as well; I was smart and listened to many opinions on this forum.

The work I had done was performed by Hellbent Performance in Chesterfield MO. They ordered everything for me, caught the busted sway bar end, and fixed the tie rod problem free of charge.

Anyone else out there considering a lift, I think this is the perfect lift if youre mostly an on road person like I am. In a month or so however I will be testing this new setup out on some hardcore trails a few hrs from here...

Your truck looks great. Like those tires too. Maybe I should have looked up Pikeman's "source" for some NTG at a really nice price, instead of getting the Kumho KL61.

how are you making out with no mud flaps on the front? any stone dings on the doors?

ive never had the mudflaps on the front, and it has never caused any issue. the large fender flares always seem to catch most of the crap that flies up, and the door panels are in almost pristine condition considering they are 9 yrs old. no intention of adding the flaps. assuming youre a dead head by your screen name, good to know there is more than one of us out there on this forum.

Where are you getting this measurement from? I imagine..center of wheel to fender, but I get 22" on mine and im running a smaller lift. I get 36 3/4" from groung to center fender.

Ok I did the front and rear from groung to fender. Im not sure what you mean by front tow hook cover? This is a pain in the ass to do by yourself!!
