OME lift was 689.00, tires are 265/75/16. Just parked nest to a desert dune runner at the cardinals game and I TOWER over him. Ride on hwy down here was fantastic.
 
The entire lift kit (coils and shocks/struts) was $689.00 delivered. Labor they only charged me 3 hrs at $70/hr.
The tires are Nitto Terra Grappler 265/75/16, perfect size for anyone contemplating. I considered the 285s, but am glad i went with this size. Not understated or overstated.

Well, I know I gained a half an inch with my tires and 1.25 inches with the pp springs. So I ended up gaining 1.75 inches. In theory you should be .75" taller.
I dunno, it still looks good and thats the perfect height for everyday driving.:cheers:
 
First off, it looks great!! I have been following your thread since you mentioned a new lift was coming. Waited all day to see what your setup would look like. Its exactly the look I was hoping to see. I too inquired about the ss 7.2, but its just too much and I didn't really want a full 3'' lift.

I have pretty much read about all the lifts and know what I want. I also spend 99.99% of my time on the road, so I was thinking the OME 880/906's with the comfort shocks. I was wondering what pushed you towards the 881's? btw, I've got a '99 limited with about 123,000 miles. Unfortunatley had a rear shock break at the top mount a while ago, so I have relatively new rear stock shocks. Planning on waiting for tires to need replaced and throw this lift in while I'm at it.

Once again, sweet lookin runner. I bet its nice to have a good shop around you can trust!
 
you're both measuring from ground to fender?
maybe its the fender flares.
i just measured mine, only 38.5 on front and . no flares:(
i am parked on incline though.
4crawler 1in next, then uca's +coilovers. enough is enough.
 
Triumphrdr: thanks for the compliments. What pushed me towards te 881s over the 880s? Honestly? That is what the guy at the shop told me to get, i didnt really question him. All I know is that he was right.
 
ah, i see. thanks for the reply. i am at 35'' from ground to bottom of fender flare, just for comparison. one last thought, how do your CV angles look?
 
Can't wait to get my lift in the mail and get it installed! I ordered exactly what you did, but with top plate spacers too. Which OME shocks did you go for? Comfort or standard?
 
KellyJ, I think I did the standard shocks, no spacers. Dont quote me on that though, but Im pretty sure I didnt do the comfort. Looking forward to seeing your rig decked out!!
 
2000runr- I really think your rig is pushing me to do a lift with the 265/75's rather than just leaving it stock height. Quick question though. Did you do a diff drop or anything for the panhard bar? I see KellyJ has it listed. I don't think its a need to have but im trying to see if its a nice to have for when I order. I can't stop looking at your pics. Can we see any with you flexing?
