Annoying adds again? Hacked?

I hope this is not an effort to monetize this forum.
Little changes like jettisoning the "LIKE" button have been an annoying feature removal. They can't, or don't seem to want to bring it back. I can't imagine that that is not fixable, but I've stopped holding my breath.
I am not a fan of anything that pops up on my screen. I don't click on it or anything, but it is annoying. I sure hope that this, even if it is associated with the forum for a contest, is not a sign of things to come. And this was before I heard about the redirects that are highly concerning.

Monetizing the forum has crossed my mind also with some of the hiccups site has been having.
The LED give away banner redirects hitting "No Thanks", click on X closes it.
Admin say's their working on Like option, guess wait n see.
This forum has lagged behind going with popup's compared to others, ha all good things come to a end.

I’m getting the same pop up. Once it happens it won’t let me go back, I have to close the window and open a new one.

I believe that ad is legit but it should only come up once. I did click on it and it does go to T4R's Instagram.

Considering the poster of that ad is the Admin. I would bet money its legit. Plus, it's also been announced on the T4R Instagram page.
Forget about that. It’s about the adds that are redirecting you away from the forums. Just happened 5 times before trying to reply. Wtf!
Yea I'm not even getting what you're getting on my phone... And I have no adblocker or anything.
I figured I won't see those on my desktop since I'm running chrome with the ublock origin / Nano defender extensions.
As for the ad I saw, yea I agree with Mstudt, since it came from the admin and also the Instagram page is legit.
I would say maybe try running malwarebytes to see if you got some form of malware/aware etc.

It's clearly not a hacking issue since it's not affecting everybody.

Can you or anyone(I’ll look back at the other threads) reccomend one for iPhones? I lurked for the longest time off of a iphone4, until about two months ago. I’m don’t really have access to a computer that I can use.

I get these pop-ups on my ipad running ios 12.1.4. I only get pop-ups from this site. And, I never get any pop-ups on my macbook running os x mojave. Chrome is the browser that I use on both platforms.
THIS. I get this dang ad/pop up too (iPhone via Safari and Chrome). It makes the site unusable on my mobile. Hit or miss what causes it. Usually doesn't happen right away, maybe after typing half a post or reading half a post. Very frustrating!
In reality, it's not a pop-up, I'm getting completely redirected. The "back" button does not usually work either... shows the last 20 pages as same URL as this ad/popup.
No issues on laptop (Chrome).
