Anonymous gifts

Has anyone received an anonymous gift lately. The reason I ask is because today ups showed up at my door with a package in my name. To my surprise I accepted the package not knowing what it was since it was to small of a box to be my sliders. What's in the box you ask. It's a Sirius satellite receiver and subscription. Neither my wife nor I ordered this.

Are you part of a wounded warrior thing that may have sent it to you? Maybe they asked for some donations and you were part of the receiving end. That would be sweet to get something in the mail like that.

Doesnt have to. I am pretty sure, by law, it is his now regardless. Would still be nice to know from who and why though.

The return Address was back to Sirius and the billing and shipping address were both to me

If it was mailed, as in USPS, you could keep it.

If delivered by UPS/FedEx/DHL, etc you have to contact the sender and give them a reasonable amount of time to pick it up at their expense.

The billing was too? Did you pay for it and forget? Haha

While deployed I got some free shoes from Vibram and they were pretty well marked as being a "Thank you." I imagine WWP would be similar. Although my buddies have got not much more than WWP clothing.

I'm assuming it isn't anyone you know. Were there "strings" attached. As stated, I'd be leery.

Definitely check into it. It could be a case of identity theft. Seriously. Someone could have opened an account in your name but with a different address. If so, you wouldn't get the bill, but your credit would be damaged when the bill isn't paid. Happened to me but I caught it before any damage was done.

Almost sounds like someone got ahold of your cc and signed up for sirius, then figured they'd watch for the delivery truck, pick it up, install it, enjoy sirius on you for awhile, then ditch it before they get caught......

Sounds awfully fishy.....Sirius would probably have info on who set it all up, via phone or email, etc.....I'd contact them and then check all you credit cards to make sure no one has gotten ahold of one or all of them.....happens all the time.....
