Another Lift Question!

I plan on lifting my 02 Sport soon since I need to get new tires. I've done lots of research and decided to go with coilovers in front and OME in the back. I also had a full OME suspension on my previous rig (01 Suzuki Grand Vitara) and really liked the feel of it. So I think I'm going with Toytec. The question is BOSS or Ultimate? They are almost the same price right now. Also should I get UCAs that Toytec offers as an extra for 399? My runner is mostly a DD but there are times when I go camping and get stuck in a couple feet of mud and clime some rocks!))) The other things I'm not sure are necessary would be extended brake lines and panhard drop bracket.

I know these questions come up all the time, sorry for beating on that dead horse again...

But don't worry, I'm in the same boat as you although going a different route, and just last week posted about lifting my truck. You certainly aren't the first and can guarantee not the last.

I think your smart to do the UCA's along with the lift
As far as the break lines, might as well do them it's cheap and can just make life easier, and for what I read, the panhard bracket will realign your rear axle back to its normal position. Without it I believe the rear axle will be off center.

I will leave the other questions to other more experienced members I'm fairly new myself and don't want to steer you wrong.

Those kits come with pretty much everything else you will need to have a great riding runner when done.

Trust me this horse is ash now from being beatin but I understand where your coming from. depending on the size of tires you plan on running will determine the need for UCAs right away. But the diffence between the boss and ultimate ive read is the boss is valved a bit better for the front. the brake may or may not need to be replaced but better to replace them to save yourself from the headache of not having them and needing them.

I plan on getting 33s. Do the UCAs give you a wider stance? I also need to decide what rims to get and how much offset. The rims my truck came with are the steel stock ones.

No, UCAs only correct for alignment and are tighter than stock so they don't rub on the tire which can occur if your backspacing isn't "correct". For a wider stance you need long travel UCA and LCA to move the spindle out and be a boss

Thats too much money for me))) I think I'll stick with offset wheels or spacers depending what wheels I get)))
