Another Moab Trip ***LOTS OF PICS***

Last weekend I went to Moab with the CO4LO crew for the annual Moab trip. We had a great time despite some minor Trail Damage. Glen and I both broke CV's, but luckily we had replacements. I should have video up as soon as I get around to editing it.


All packed up and ready for the trip:

When we were driving down the highway we passed another 4runner that was low riding pretty hard. I thought it was pretty funny and had to take a picture:

Our camp site was next to a huge rock which over hung the camp site:

After the long drive to Moab some of the group wasn't up for exploring that day. So the 3rd gen party went out to play on Hummer Hill. Photo at the top of Hummer Hill:

The 2nd day we decided to run Kane Creek. The trail turned out to be fairly easy, but still fun none the less.

The next day we decided to Run Hell's Revenge. This was my 2nd time on the trail and i gotta say that it is probly my favorite trail I've ever run, even though Glen and I both broke CV's on the trail.

Notice the Hummer tour guide off trail on the right hand side of the picture. This is way so many trails are being shut down. please STAY ON TRAIL!

The majority of the next day was spent in the Hardware store parking lot as we fixed Glen's CV.

After we got it fixed we ran Hidden Valley. I didnt take any pics... It wasnt worth it, I didnt even have to put it in 4wd. But it was fun driving through the sandy creek bed.

That night Glen and I decided to go get some sun set pics:

Also that night we decided to make a huge fire. Fire does funny things to you when you are in moab...

And on the last day we ran a small portion of the Behind the Rocks trail that was near our campsite:

Overall it was a fun trip. I still dont feel like i got all the wheeling in that i wanted. I'm thinking another is in order very soon...

Wish I had a Trail Rig...right now, I have a Mall Queen haha that only sees easy > moderate trails.

Great way to use (2) wheels as a jackstand haha

• Did Glen get out of Mikey's Hot Tub by himself?
• Do you still have Tread on those KM2s?
• Did you swap them yet?
• What are you getting next?
• Going w/ 35s?

-No glen had to winch out. It was just to risky without getting any body damage. The pics dont show how narrow it was.
-I'd say i got about 50% tread left on them

-Probly not. I might go with a 305/70/17 which is a 34. But to fit 35's properly takes a lot of work, and im not sure there would be that much benefit. Plus i love how it drives now with the 33's.

Looks like it was a sick trip! Wish I could have been there. Hopefully one day I'll make it out there during the warmer months. Seems like the only times I make it out that way are during snowboarding season. Definitely gotta change that once I build my rig up... one day!
