Another new guy

New old guy here from Jersey, love this place so far, im addicted.
Not my first 4WD truck or not my first 4Runner, but I'm new to this board.
I had a few 4WD trucks before I bought my first Toyota 4WD pickup in 1981, and Ive been a Toyota truck and 4Runner fan since then.

3 weeks old now, SR5 Premium. I had the dealer add in some mods before I took delivery, swapped out the original wheels and tires for the TRD matte black wheels, covered in BFG AT KO2's. Auto start, AVG hood protector and Vent Visors.

Planning my next mod with the help of this board, lovin it.

New Member here also! Just picked up a 2016 TRD Pro in Quicksand. This is my first 4runner and first Toyota! I was formerly a jeep guy for the past 15 years but got tired of the horrible reliability and problems. Farwell to Jeep forever and Hello Toyota!

Wow! I am making my first post on t4r.org. I own two first-generation 4runners, and 84 xtra cab and a '92 xtra cab. The older extra cab and one of the 4runners are merely parts vehicles. My "good" 4runner is an '89 SR5. It's a little bit rough. I live in the Rust Belt and although the '89 started its life in California it has endured the number of winters in Wisconsin, so it has a little bit of rust in the rear quarter panels, the usual places. Thankfully, some prior owner had the foresight to have some good rustproofing/Rust preventative treatment applied so the doors, the cab, and the tailgate are rust free.
