Anti Dark Hatch Light

Some folks on the forum have installed the Anti-Dark under hood led light kit. Looks like a good product for those who don't want to assemble the pieces separately and make their own kit . The company now also offers an suv hatch light kit. Has anyone on here installed the hatch kit? If so, any opinions, details on install, etc? Thanks.

Or these...COB's put off more light per fixture....

superbright used to carry some similar to these, but discontinued.

Link to where I can get the LED's just for the rear hatch? I'm thinking I'd rather swap those out than do the hatch light from AD.
I used the shitty eBay kit that's often recommended here. On mobile right now so I don't have a link.

If I were to do it again, I'd buy quality bulbs. They are bright, but a bunch are already flickering.

I ended up just replacing the bulbs in the lift gate with some LED ones I found at the electronics parts house here in town. Way cheaper than this kit...think I came out like $20, and it's brighter than I was actually expecting.

I'd just poke around and find some LED replacement bulbs. Buy the good ones the first time, not the Ebay knock offs.

All of my other LED's came from superbrightleds.com but since they quit carrying the ones like I pictured, fleabay was my only other source at the time. So far, they have performed fine.....time will tell.
I wish superbrightleds.com would start carrying them again, they put off and amazing amount of light!

Since I'm having trouble posting a link, search for this thread. Easy mod, less than 2 hours, provides great lighting inside the cargo area. Total cost less than $30. I've done this to both of the 4Runners in our family.

Cargo LED Lighting Actually done right.

I do have very bright LED's (350lumens )in my reverse lights but they are not of the festoon type.

Do you happen to have a link to the reverse lights you bought? I always back into my driveway but it's very dark and somewhat narrow. Brighter reverse lights would be a welcome addition.

My problem with the hatch lights are that they're behind you. It's very easy to block the light by standing in front of your cargo area, no matter how bright the LEDs are.
