if its leaking coolant then the coolant may be low. id check all 16 hoses, the thermostat, and the water pump, (judging by that pick)...:toilet3:

The blue thingy you're looking at is a coolant temp sensor that screws into the plenum. If you're very very lucky, that's what's leaking coolant - pull it out, clean the threads, replace the oring, and put it back with thread sealant. Probably a good idea to test it and/or replace it as long as you're pulling it.
Directly underneath that is a flange where the coolant return line comes from behind the head. If you're only mostly lucky, they just forgot to tighten the two 10mm bolts that come in underneath that flange. You'll have to remove the upper plenum to reach them, probably.
If you're not lucky at all, they did what I did and bent that flange removing the head. If it is bent, the right way to fix it is to remove that hard line from the back of the head and replace it, but I don't think you can do that without removing the head. The next best thing would be to remove the upper and lower intake plenums to get at it and hit it with gasket maker. I didn't want to take the lower plenum off, so I ended up cutting a piece of paper gasket to match the shape of the flange, covering it in gasket maker, and slipping that over the flange and it's not leaking any more.

Its leaking from the plenum where you are talking about best I can tell. How dangerous is it to drive can't get it to the shop until Wednesday and have to drive a couple of miles back and forth to work.

Ok I appreciate it, it's leaking from the bottom of that flange you're describing one of the 2 has got to be it got to be it. It's about the same thing the guy who worked on it said. I don't really want to take it back to him but I'm hoping if he is the one that made the mistake he'll take care of it, he's one of the Battalion Chiefs at work.

If he's a professional mechanic working out of his shop and charging you shop rate, he's professionally obligated to take care of you. If he's a friend helping you out, or a mechanic doing work on the side, you might wanna make sure you bring a pizza or a 12pack of his favorite frosty beverage.
He's not a shade tree mechanic he has his own shop he runs.
