Any good mechanics in Colorado Springs?

Anyone know of any reputable mechanics in Colorado Springs that I can trust my 04 4Runner with? I've lived here less than 2 years, only had my 4runner for 1.5 yrs and haven't needed a mechanic yet... trying to find one by word-of-mouth for when I do.

Sorry I don't have any personal recommendations however, those two guys on the radio, Tom and Ray from cartalk, a call in radio show on NPR (national public radio) (you don't have to be a gearhead to enjoy the show btw) has a website where you can enter your zip code and read real reviews from real people of local mechanics.

Btw, do any of you remember the scene in The Sopranos where Tony had cartalk on the radio in the background during breakfast.

Really depends on what you need done. Dealer has specific tools, references and training for the specialized/technical systems plus you get quality OEM parts. That said I probably would not buy a battery or tires from a dealer and I avoid quick lube places too. I also avoid come-on low prices for brake and exhaust work. Only caution on dealer is avoid their add-on (not specified in the owners manual) sales efforts. I mean do the muffler bearings really need to be flushed and lubricated every oil change?

I appreciate the suggestions.

I know a lot of things you get what you pay for, but I've felt dealers really stick it to you on price/labor, although I haven't compared labor costs here yet.
