Any good tire deals right now?

I just got my '06 4Runner w/41k and need new tires. I had Toyo's on my other suv and thought they were pretty good, any good deal out there now? Preferably in the northeast? I have p265/65r17 Bridgestone Dualers on there now.

Bridgestone has a $100 rebate offer good till May 2, 2009. You can use it on Dueler A/T REVOs. Make sure if you buy locally they price match to Tirerack which has very decent prices typically.

Check out Mavis. I think they are NY-based. I ordered over the internet from them a few years ago and they beat the prices of all local dealers as well as Tirerack and the other big internet retailers.

Also, I am thinking of upgrading my 17" SR5 wheels and tires to the wheels/tires from a Limited. Mine have 5500 miles right now. Maybe we could work out a three way deal with someone else on here who has Limited takeoffs. I'm in the Northeast as well.

I'm looking to get Goodyear Fortera TripleTreds on my 04 V8 SR5. I had them on my Honda Pilot before this (replaced the terrifying Goodyear Integrity) ... and will not put anything else on my SUVs now. No good deals though ... I'm seeing about 180.00 / tire.

Not to thread hijack ... but are the 2008 18" Limited rims interchangeable (i.e.., same bolt pattern, offset, etc). with 2004 models?

There are several good tires available that fit that criteria. If your are looking for a good deal, then your choices narrow down a bit. I know the General Grabber AT2 is the price leader for all terrain tires with a severe weather rating. I like the Toyo Open Country AT as well. Bridgstone, Goodyear, Pirelli will be a little more $.

There is more tire info here on T4R about tires for a 4Runner than anywhere else on the planet. Take some time to browse the tire section or use the search function and plug in any tire manufacturer and you will find lots of threads.
