Any last minute opinions before I buy?

So I'm fairly new here been doing a bunch of research. I've been waiting for a 3rd gen 4runner for a while and I'm going to look at two tomorrow.

I've waited for a 1999 limited for a while so I'm more inclined to buy that one.
I talked to the guy and he says the water pump and timing belt have not been changed in a while. He says that the oils have all been changed regularly. Says he loves it and doesn't want to get rid of it but he need a truck.

What do you guys think?

Get the limited, It has a rear diff lock.

Get the one with the least rust! Check out a member on here...fightman80 and look at his build thread. He sprays grease on the undercarriage of his to stop the rust.

I assume that is Canadian currency they are showing.

Those are really clean units! I'm not really crazy about the mileage though.....mines a 98 and it only has 188---kms on it. Have you found any with less km's on them??? I know they are hard to find, as I have been looking around (just for fun), and have not even seen any around here that were for sale, looked as clean as mine, and had the same kind of mileage. Most rigs out here are rusted to crap, and have the mileage that your 2 trucks have.....

If you haven't seen lower mileage ones, I'd pick the cleanest looking truck. Are you using it to wheel with??? Is it only a Daily Driver??? If you're using it as a dedicated wheeler, I'd take the Limited. If not, and only a Daily Driver, I'd take the SR5. I find the Limited seems a little more worse for wear (not much though), and you see Silver Limiteds all over the freakin place. The Imperial Jade Mica SR5 is not as common, so I'd buy that one.......

I'd go with the limited for the transfer case functionality.

I would let rust decide for you, though that said, unless there is a big different in rust levels, I'd go for the limited. It's cheaper and has more options. And it has no chrome (sorry fightman).

Be sure you check the rear axle for rust. They are pretty much guaranteed to have some, but if one is way worse than the other, then that might be a deciding factor.

The rust difference would have to be pretty pronounced for me to go with the SR5 though. The limited has the locker, and AWD. Both are big in the winter (I have an SR5 and used my locker several times to get unstuck in the snow, I wish I had AWD).
