Any meets to shoot on BLM land?

Sorry, east coast here... what does BLM stand for?

(cause around here it seems to mean Black Lives Matter)

it stands for Bureau of Land Management. They are actually headquartered on the east coast ( I think in D.C) - but most of the land is located in western states.

Do you have a weapon already?

If not make sure you offer to comp the whoever lets you shoot their weapon system for the ammo you burn.

Repeat after me , “ finger off the trigger” until you are ready to send a round down range. Get some ear protection. And one more thing, finger off the trigger.

Nope. I always figured owning a firearm before learning to use one properly wouldn't be a good idea for me. Wouldn't mind owning something down the road if I find it fun, but no plans for the immediate future.

I hear you on compensation for use-I've seen what ammo prices are.

And yes, everything I've read/watched makes that rule clear. I'll try to remember. Ear and eye protection is something I need to look into though, thanks.

I have a 22 month old boy which makes planning anything tentative and I'd hate to be the planner who flakes. Unfortunately, it looks like it would have to be in January when my parents visit for a couple months from the east coast. I also have ITTS carbine training in November (the wife gave me the thumbs up to take off for an entire weekend) and then it's the holiday season.
