That was the bus used in the making of the movie Into the Wild. It is in Healy, AK at the 49th State brew pub. The magic bus is still out on the Stampede Trail. I did ride out but did not cross the river to get all the way to the bus.
Hubs are pink Chris King. Love them. All my mountain bike hubs are King. All my bikes have King headsets as well. They make great stuff...in the USA.

Still trying to dial everything in. I am coming from a Specialized Camber and it is like night and day. Getting ready for our annual Brown County, IN. trip next month.

Sweet! I've more experience with the bottom of that trail, mostly involving a rogue hoe and macleod. We've prolly met at some trail build or another or another or another, or possibly on a trail. I'm the slow one.

Nice! I have rode there in the distant past. We are expecting a little snow tonight so the bikes will get cleaned up and serviced this weekend and put up. Will bring them out only on sunny warm days from now til March.

I actually enjoy riding in the leafs. I don't overthink my lines, which is exactly how one should ride a 29er. Of course, you are correct about the surprises. They tend to have a more painful payout in the leafs.

Picked this up over the winter. Converted to 650B, added new stem, bar, and grips. Our trails are muddy as hell right now, so its sitting pretty in the spare room.
