I still get vibration. Field tech reported to Toyota. But no word yet. Anyone hear of any tsb's? The Lexus 460 already issued one. Hoping 4runner follows suit. Any news?
Any news from Toyota on steering wheel vibration?

Here's what I know.
As many of you know, the vibration issue is not just limited to the 4runner. It can occur on 4Runners, FJ Cruisers, Tacomas, and Lexus GX460. I've confirmed this on numerous forums. At this point, the only attempt I've seen where toyota attempted to address this is "L-SB-0020-12" that was released by Lexus this year. After looking at it, it's a 4 hour long fix. People on the forums are speculating that toyota is only doing this for the luxury vehicle (lexus) and saying screw the rest of the vehicles. Camery's went through this a few years ago also.
I also know that the 4runners have a reputation of steering wheel vibration including previous generations.
I made the bad mistake of thinking I'd get better quality etc.. by going with toyota after experiencing (and eventually fixing) steering wheel vibration issues in my dodge charger. Lucky me, I go to toyota that gets vibration in a large amount of their vehicles.
