Any SR5 owners covert to auto on/off headlights?

Has anyone done this yet? My last couple cars had had this feature. I know they turn off after locking the door but the lights then are aleady on and I can't see my radio screen. I then have to turn the lights off to see the screen. Its a bit annoying

Do is it you want your headlights to turn off when it's brighter outside? Or you want your dash/radio to show brighter when the lights are off (or possibly just have the dash/radio be brighter when it's bright outside, independent of headlights being on/off).

Just the lights turn on my themselves and turn off by themselves.

Just the lights turn on and off by themselves. Think someone done it on the 4th gen. I believe you need a light sensor and new control stalk

I'd actually prefer not to have the auto-on/off. I have it on my dad's pathfinder LE and takes 1 min or so to turn off and can be annoying depending on where you park sometimes. With the 4Runner, just hit the lock button twice on the key fob and it will turn of the headlights. Plus I leave my headlights on all the time.

To add to the topic: Wouldn't you have to drill a new hole in your dash to accommodate the new light sensor (Aren't those light senors usually on the dash near the windshield)?

EDIT: So to answer my own question, you might have a plastic insert where the light sensor is usually placed so no drilling has to take place.
