anybody changed the trunk/cargo lightbulb in 5th generation

I'm having trouble taking the lens off the trunk/cargo in 2013 4 runner, anybody have any experience in taking it off..pat

thx, before I break that lens using my screwdriver, it just won't come off I was so close lol

If you use the search box further down rather than the Google search box you will restrict the search to the specific forum. The overall search function does leave something to be desired though. On a positive note, the Tapatalk app for iOS makes the mobile interface easier to use. Sorry for the hijack, good luck on the bulb replacement!

thx for the help and advice everybody, so just to clarify, it looks like the whole unit comes off not just the lens/cover. I tried to take off the lens itself just to change the bulb and it won't pop out. I take it once the unit is out i can take the lens off to change the bulb. ??? thx again

yup. use philsey's writeup. once you remove the assembly from the trim panel you'll see that there are tabs securing the lens to the body. it'll be clear when you have it out.
