Here's my 4Runner enjoying an outdoor bonspiel a few weeks ago in Forest River, ND. That's a curling tournament. It was -17 F in the morning, so it was kind of cold, but it got pretty nice by afternoon, in the high teens.

It ended up spending the night there too, after somebody drank a bit too much.

curling outdoors? man your crazy. only once did i watch a curling event and that was indoor at the local ice rink here in town. incteresting but i could never quite get into it, but i do watch it once in a blue moon on tv.

It's much more fun to curl than it is to watch imo. I'm not too serious about it, it's more about having a good time than anything. Managed to take 4th place though that weekend out of 80 or so teams, we had a bit of luck.

thats not unusual for up here. this past winter was pretty cold. its pretty sad the state can get colder than nome alaska at times with the right alberta clipper.
