Anybody in or close to Milton, FL for test fitting a Whitson Metalworks rack?

Josh ( [MENTION=77764]Whitson Metalworks[/MENTION]) has been a sponsor of T4R.ORG for two years and started off making the 3rd gen racks. He recently started making racks for the 4th gens. For the money, you can't beat these racks.

If you have a 5th gen and live in, or close to Milton, FL, Josh is needing one for a weekend, to take measurements and test fitting. I am sure he will chime in to give more details, but i just wanted to see if somebody could help him out with this.

Thanks momo! It took a good while to find a 4th gen donor but my fingers are crossed that there'll be someone local willing to help. I'd need the truck for a weekend, parked in my driveway. I'll obviously need to remove the stock rack, take a bunch of measurements, and do a bunch of fitting and re-fitting. I'm happy to offer a deep discount on a rack to whomever is able to help should they be interested in one. I'll keep the forum updated when and if any progress is made!

Thank you Alan! I think I'm a couple weeks away from being caught up to a point at which I could spend some time on a 5th gen design so I'll update as I find things out.

if you do make one are you going to make a 3rd set of feet for the very front, similar to gobi? it looks to me like the 5th gen front (area from rear of the sunroof to the windshield) is larger than the 4th gen, especially the stock mounting holes. Thanks, and I am looking forward to it if they make it in to production!
