Anybody out there?

Ok so i finally get some instant notificatons set up for this thread because i always miss all the fun trips. Looks like a blast. I did get to take mine out a few weeks ago on some local trails and was impressed on how well the runner handles the offroad tasks. I hope i can make it out one of these times.
 
Thanks for the pics Jeremy! That was a blast and I think the "technical" trails heading back from Meadow Knob are better then anything in Peter's Mill.

Sliders will be here Wednesday. I'm ready for a trip to Rausch!
 
I wish I had checked this thread last week, would have loved to meet up with you guys. What trails did you run besides Peters Mill Run?

Thanks man, I got the CBI sliders. I like the look of yours, they were on sale and only a 3 1/2 week wait! Now I just have to decide whether to use a truck bed liner or paint them. Any ideas how paint would be over the truck bed liner?

miklohakim and 4ever4running just did Peter's Mill Run. Jeremy and I went up to Meadow Knob to camp and ran into Ben. I hope there are some other trails around Meadow Knob, I really want to camp up there again.

Nice, I think you'll love the sliders, I know I do mine. I had CBI powdercoat mine because Nathan gave me a deal on it. Before I decided to have them powdercoated I was going to just rattle can them. I decided against the textured finish for touch up reasons, not knowing how the paint would go over the bedliner. So, sorry I can't really answer the question since I had the same concerns.

Wish I had made the meetup, I'm sure it was a blast. I have run Peters Mill and Taskers Gap a few times, but would really like to check out some of the trails south, like Dictum Ridge. Gotta get another meet together.

P.S.: be prepared for a pita install on the driver side slider. When it comes time shoot me a pm, I have a couple tips.

PM Sent. I'm going to rattle can them, they will match my wheels and it will be eaiser to touch them up then the bed liner. Plus I'd prefer to not have the textured look.

Hopefully we will go to Rausch soon and it would be great to have someone with a winch! :bigok:
 
Wouldn't be a problem as they have chosen to do it the same time as the jamboree! Nice idea but sucks for me! I'll be at a wedding in RI, I really wanted to go!

I guess my skids will be happy. they didn't like Rausch and I haven't replaced them just yet.

I'm sure its not a problem at all. I will talk with the coordinator at Yotatech and maybe I can be the T4R liason and relay any important information.

I am really hoping to go! As of now I don't have anything planned that weekend so hopefully I will be able to make it, but my work schedule is always a little unpredictable...

Yeah I'm really hoping to make it, I still have to wait and see what my schedule looks like as the trip gets closer.

Bahahah its still there so I would say its holding up pretty well. I still need to order a new mount and possibly an extra one just in case that happens again.
 
Sup my Va brothers of another mother. Would love to hook up and do some mudding with ya. I dont have much just a old 95 Runner bone ass stock.
 
Hey guys I just found out that my firm will be shut down for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of next week for the 4th. Would anyone be interested in a day/overnight wheeling trip to GWNF next week/weekend?

I wasn't able to make it to Rausch Creek last weekend so I would like to hit the trails soon...
