I'm trying to see what 916StunnaRunna's awesome black wheels would look like with my desert dune/silver color scheme. Anybody want to give it a try?

Hmmm.... I just don't know. I'm thinking about blacking out the emblems, license plate surround, and re-painting the rear wind deflector, rear bumper plastic insert, roof rails, etc.

Thoughts?

Definetly Black the emblems out on the 99+ in that color, that provides great contrast and looks cool, i would probably do the rear spoiler too but not the plastic bumper cover and no go on the lisence plate surround, thats just my opinion, any you need photoshop just ask.

Not sure if this question was directed toward me. If so, I'm still trying to figure out if I do like it. In the meantime, just looking for others opinions.

I think if I weren't going to use it as a daily driver, I would love it because I would throw a shrockworks bumper on it, Sonoran 1.2 lift, and a Gobi Stealth rack to match. However, since that's not going to happen anytime soon, I'm not sure if the "stock" look of the truck does the black wheels justice. To me, black wheels say "Not just for show".

I think graphite would compliment the truck better. Black's not bad, either. If you do go black, I'd take off the running boards. Set of A/T tires wouldn't be bad, either. For paint, I've had good luck with Duplicolor wheel paints (Autozone, Pepboys, etc.).

Still wish I would've bought that 4Runner. Good luck with the mods.

yeah it was towards you. If you like it do it. Anymore black wheels are pretty standard. Just make sure you like it before you do it.
