Anyone blacked out a new Limited?

All blacked out. Currently using plastidip. Will upgrade to something more permanent for the door handles and window trim

I black wrapped most my front bumper and plasti'd the rear panel. I like a little pop off chrome, but stock chrome was just way too much.

I haven't done anything with my runner, since I bought it.. besides drive it to the grocery store/work and back LOL.

Haven't had time yet. Plus, I'd like to get new tires, before venturing out there. Might take my 97 sierra out there and ride around first. Get a feel for it. Don't want to jack up the new rig, yet!

Sorry for the threadjack, but I have a similar scenario. I've got a SR5 premium magnetic grey set to be delivered within the next week. I'd like to have the stock wheels painted with a flat black powder coat finish. Asked the dealer about it - they quoted $850 because the wheels would have to be demounted, disassembled due to the air pressure monitors, etc.

I think they're blowing smoke trying to make a buck. What say you?

That sounds about right for my neck of the woods. Smaller shops will charge about $400 or so for just rims so you'll have to pay to unmount the tires and TPMS and shops will charge $80 for that. Then to re-mount is another $80.

I have some credit at a shop and they said they'd unmount, powdercoat, and remount my tires for $750 CAD.

Sell em and buy new rims imo.

it was a kit on ebay. about $125 or so. it comes with top grill and the toyota thing. it attaches with double sided industrial tape. Not a perfect fit, but close enough. Love the look of it blacked out with the chrome piece on the bottom and the orignal toyota emblem and with the TOYOTA lettering.

Doing some wraps this week, just wondering if you had a picture of the side profile and which rims your running?
