Anyone buy a 4runner and leave behind small car?

I miss the on ramps, the feeling of all four tires breaking loose on a launch, the sound of the Tial 38mm EWG opening, and the smell of alcohol burning. I would not change a thing though. I am happy to have owned such a car in my life, but happier to move on to my family friendly camp machine.

I also had a wrx sedan. Mine was my fishing kayak hauler. Not very friendly for camping or hauling gear, but it worked.

For an AWD turbo charged 4 cyl, it would put a lot cars to shame, including mustangs, firebirds, camaros etc... Most people don't think Subaru when they think of fast cars, and it often gets tossed in the same category as hondas.

Do I miss the streetability? Sometimes. But being able to sleep in the same vehicle that hauled all your gear and kayak away is a HUGE plus. No tents 99% of the time. Handles the 15 foot long kayak WAY better. More storage as well. Plus I can just about anywhere I want now.

Started off with a permit on my Dad's Toyota Matrix and got my 05 Runner for Christmas... I can never drive a smaller car again. My driving instructor to be able to get my license thinks im a terrible driver just because his driving school teaches teenagers to drive with a Mustang...

I passed my driver's test on the 1st round with my trusty 4Runner.

Good drivers can drive anything big or small. Mustangs aren't even hard to drive especially not the automatic V6 ones the driving schools have. Small cars are fun to drive, I would really keep an open mind if I were you, and I would also learn to drive stick too.
