anyone dyno their 4th gen?

just wondering if anyone had the chance to dyno their 4th gen with or without mods... and what the actual top speed is without the limiter.

What limiter? Are you saying this is governed? At what speed?

i believe it's limited to 110mph... which is also the top speed rating of the tires that come on the 4runner.

If we were to put tires rated for a higher speed, how do we disable the governor?

The truck is rev limited so you could never fly into the red but pretty much all cars are today and the speed limiter is 120 something, maybe like 123mph, the V6 model is 110 I think or 112mph

Why anyone wants to remove a speed limiter on the 4Runner is nuts, work on getting up to that speed faster.

Cars in Europe are not speed limited cause of the autobahn

I found a speed unlimiter on-line and I think j0mama installed one. So yes the top speed is governed and you can undo it.
